Well the cinematic mode isn’t that great tbh..it shoots in 1080p which is rarely usable so i would prefer normal mode or go pro anyday over this cinematic mode..wish it had 4k 24 fps atleast

Go pro any day ...much compact , cheaper , proper vlogging setup. Only issue is lot of mounts needed.

It all depends on what are you going to do with either of the camera. I personally like the video quality of the GoPro more than the iPhone. I feel for the hypersmooth stability if you need an action cam like for moto-vlogging, then definitely go for a GoPro... however, for general vlogging, the iPhone, esp with a gimbal such as DJI OM4 is an awesome package!

Go pro the action camera is for on the go video recordings.. More rugged and also using a go pro case underwater footage is no problem... But for everything else the iPhone has a clear edge...

Go Pro, shifting content from GoPro to HDD is easy compare to Iphone, secondary we can buy couple of more batteries for go pro to run for longer time, however, Iphone server more than camera which we cant sacrifice on trip because of battery draining issues. For Ex: in trip Map , google, calls, hotels booking, whatsup , ticket booking for difference places etc etc

They both are good but why not Insta 360X2/X3 or DJI Action 3. I would prefer DJI Action 3 cos it works better than GoPro in darker areas. I also prefer Insta 360 when you want a footage between a vlog with a rotating 360 view to show overall view of the place. Thanks for sharing Tanya

The thing about pricing isn't accurate. You don't need 95k for an iPhone. An iPhone 12 costs around 60k and 11 at 50k. Even 13 is available for 70k. The non-pro models lack the telephoto lens, but everything else in the camera dept. is the same.

You missed one point: GoPro cannot shoot close up food shots to capture details whereas iPhone can do that very well. I realised this in my gujarat trip vlog and that’s a prime reason I switched to iPhone later for food vlogging purpose. For travel vlogging, gopro serves well esp for the underwater shots.
