I went from an iPhone X to note 9 to iPhone XS max. The note is a better phone pound for pound. Why did I switch back? Apples support, ecosystem, and new watch. Software integration with hardware. Something about the Samsung experience is always laggy. Give me pixel software on Samsung hardware and it makes the decision harder

Literally same as me but with one extra step after XS Max... I took it back for an 8 plus because the battery life on the max SUCKED compared to note 9/8 plus. Few days later with the 8 plus and i m really happy. I agree... Pixel software on note 9 - dream phone that is perfect in every way.

I think you might have to reset your phone as new instead of backup! my Max was getting bad battery life until I reset it. sometimes backups might be 'corrupted' for a lack of a better term. either way, after I reset my phone and just downloaded all my photos and stuff through iCloud, the next day my batter was INSANE. I got up for work at 5;45 am which is when I unplug my phone from the charger, and It lasted me until 9pm.. yes.. you Read that right... 9pm. at 9pm, my battery was at 29%. the phone easily lasted me 16 hours of off-the-charger. and I used it a lot. even watched a movie-box movie which is a 3rd party app. facetimed for a total of 1.4 hours, played asphalt for about 50 minutes, a lot of social media ...etc. before I reset my phone, It got to about 25% by 4pm. so 11 hours. and like I said, after reset I got 29% at 9pm(16 hours). worth looking into!

I love my iPhone XS Max. I don’t play many games like you do. I don’t have time. So I get great battery life. As for handling the phone one handed, I have large hands so I’m good. You probably should stick with the smaller XS model. Same power and features just in a smaller package.

Fauzi Ichad Wiekaldie The XS Max was so last year. I upgraded to the 11 Pro Max. But battery life for the XS Max was averaging about 10 hrs. There were times I charged my phone every other night instead of nightly. However, battery life depends on type and duration of apps and features that you use.

Androids are just plain horrible. Having androids all my life then switching to an iPhone is the best thing to do. Everybody just goes off of specs when it comes to androids. iPhone is about longevity and efficiency. iPhone is still giving a 5 year old device (5s) updates but yet have you ever heard of anybody still using a s5 getting updates?. People want iPhone to be soo much like android. Talking about expandable storage. Most people will never use up the full 128-256gbs all it takes is for someone to steal your phone and they have all of your storage just by removing your Sd card.💀. I'm switching back to Android / note 9 after 2 years with the iPhone 7 plus. I got this sucker at launch. Phone before that was a note 5 . I liked the note better because I actually utilize the S pen and the notes features. I like the way Android works better. iPhone is not for me and hardly even used the ecosystem. 2 iPads I bought this year and Apple tv. So I will be sticking with those. The note fits my needs better, especially if you need an ecosystem within it self that you carry everywhere with you. Apples ecosystem is only good if you around apple devices which I am not. But no hate for the iPhone had my experience with it which was a good one and can appreciate ios

As a photographer, I would say that the reason the Snapple label was so crisp while the edges of the bottle were soft could be attributed to the super wide aperture. At 2.8 or larger (not sure what the iPhone portrait mode aperture is) it’s typical that anything surrounding the focus point will be soft because anything not in the same plane will be our of focus. At 2.8 or larger, the focus point becomes super small. That probably explains the soft edges of the bottle.
