Using my XS Max since Oct 2018. It’s a beast. Fast and smooth. If you don’t need the latest and greatest, then the XS Max is a great choice. I prefer it to the regular iPhone 11.

Another great video Brandon. Love the comparison and points you made. You did mention about how Apple claims it’s the strongest glass in any iPhone and then moved onto the fact that your phones (including this one) scratch easily. Apple didn’t claim it was any more resistant to scratches but that the glass was the strongest in any iPhone. They have the glass made to be more resistant to cracking and shattering, stronger glass needs to be able to flex. That flex comes from softer glass, and softer means it’s prone to scratches. Rigid glass is harder and more resistant to scratches but more prone to cracking and shattering.

The cameras, night mode, and biggest reason is the battery. Using video for b-roll is really incredible in good lighting. Being able to film for hrs without needing a separate battery pack is a game changer. Great video. 11 Pro Max is the best phone I have had for my uses.

What good extra screen when it cut off people heads and wording below..Other thing I hate is, Sri being on off button, trying turn phone off it always activates Sri. I pretty much agree with this video based on extended time with both phones. The difference in camera quality (both front facing and main) is night and day, and the battery life difference is very noticeable (I don't game on my phones so I can't comment on gaming performance). Other than that it's pretty much the same phone.

2 things worth mentioning: Glass can either be hard but brittle, or soft but durable. For the iPhone 11 Pro series, Apple and their partner went with the latter. Hence explains the easy scratching on the display. The front RGB camera is not at all responsible for Face ID authentication (aside from the setup process so you can see yourself when you rotate your head). The flood illuminator, infrared camera, and dot projector are the exact same components since the iPhone X. All Face ID improvements such as a wider angle usage is attributed to iOS 13 and it extends to the iPhone X and Xs series as well.

For the camera alone is why I want the 11Pro Max. I'm a semi pro photographer. I sold all my gear. I used my iPhone more and it's ALWAYS with me! I've been using the 7 Plus but, it's time for a change. Personally, the camera alone does it for me as it essentially is the only camera I own. By the time the 12 comes it'll be around Thanksgiving. I don't believe it'll have such mind blowing features that I will cry over.

I sent the first wide angle picture I took with mine to a colleague and he went straight out and bought one too, they just look amazing. The screens aren't key proof btw, I have 2 DEEP gouges on mine, along with the thousands of micro scratches in the oleophobic layer. Luckily I have AC so I can get it replaced for £25 but still, they are not as good as was made out.

The more shatter resistant glass is, the more prone to scratches it will be. In order to make the glass not break from dropping it off your couch... you need to compromise scratching it a little bit from less intensive things. I did a test and the glass on the 11 vs the 10 s and 10 is far more shatter resistant

Had I purchased the XS max, and that was my current phone - I wouldn't upgrade. But because my current phone is the 8, and I want a new phone (time for one actually haha)… the choice is clear. I may as well upgrade to the 11 pro max at this point, because I'd be doing myself the disservice of not experiencing the new features as it is. I can purchase a new phone whenever I'd like, sure, and when the XS first came out, god I really wanted it... But if I purchase it now, I'll probably have to wait a few good years before I get another I phone... so yeah. That just... makes it clear. Thank you for this video, it was the true deciding factor after watching so many. :D The only reason I wanted the XS was for the nostalgic value, if I can be honest. I'm sure I'll get over it once I start using my new Iphone haha. :'D Again- thanks.

I am using iPhones since the 3G S (2008) and owned most models. I now have the 11 Pro Max and it is BY FAR the best iPhone ever. In my opinion it’s currently thee best smartphone on the market. That device is the complete package if you ask me. I have the midnight green version and it is also the best looking iPhone I ever had. As I said: It’s the complete package.

The glass on newer iPhones is designed to not shatter, which has its sacrifices. It makes them very prone to scratches for some reason, look it up

I have both the Xs and 11 Pro. Once I experienced the super-better camera performance and the much better battery life... the only thing I regret is... having bought the Xs.
