Thanks for this video I was a 5 yr old when Ipi tombi came to Nigeria for FESTAC '77. My father could not stop playing these songs in the house and I absolutely fell in love with ipi tombi.

Jay T same. ipi tombi came to Israel in 1978 and my parents kept playing this video over and over. Hence the poor quality:)

thank you so much Yossi. l have being looking for original cast stage production of ipi tombi for a long time. margaret singana and the rest of the cast were so marvellous. please l still want to watch the warrior musical on stage featuring margaret singana, todd twala and thembi nyanmebi of africa umoja. pls l'm dying to watch the warrior. big tribute to margaret singana. a great singer. may she continue to rest in peace. love her so much. thank you once again yossi brauman

THANKS SO MUVH for posting this! I saw IPI Tombi in 1977 when they came to Lagos. Nigeria. I loved them then and now....This brings back happy childhood memories...I would love to get a video of this
