My Retentions for the CSK 2025: Player 1 (18cr) - Ravindra Jadeja Player 2 (14cr) - Conway Player 3 (11cr) - Pathirana Player 4 (18cr) - Ruturaj Gaikwad Player 5 (4cr) - MS Dhoni Jadeja has been the architect behind the CSK team for many years and he still is at his best. So I will retain him for 18cr. Ruturaj Gaikwad, future captain and a great batter in these 3 years. He has been consistent in all the innings. So I will retain him for 18 cr. Conway missed last year's IPL due to injury but he performed at his best for the TSK in the MLC 2024. And he has done well for CSK before and in the international sides. So I will retain him for 14 cr. Pathirana has been one of the best bowlers for CSK in the last two seasons. I feel his wicket taking ability and Dhoni's guidance will definitely help him choke the bowlers at Chepauk as well as away games. So I want to retain him for 11 cr. The last retention which was exclusively announced by the BCCI was for the big man MS Dhoni. He is extremely fit, he is in good form, he is the master mind behind the stumps. Age is just a number, a lion will always be a lion. Last year, slipped away slightly from the points table in do-or-die game has hurted him a lot. The wounded lion is more dangerous. I feel MSD will give his best and bat better than last season. So I will retain him as an uncapped player for 4 cr (i know he deserves more than this. But rules are like that). With these retentions, I have covered the core in all the areas i.e., batting, bowling, allrounder, captain, and the master MSD. @cheeka sir, @anirudh bro, your thoughts on this. SAMEER RIZVI - 4 CRORES Since it is Mega auction, Dube can be get as much around 10 crores. So in that case getting Dhoni+ Dube + Rizvi for around 20 crores is a steel
