Hey ! It doesn’t hurt at all as a POC I only recommend using on level 1 to avoid burning ! Please use your discretion and test only one second of your body before going crazy anywhere else 😊

All ipl devices are not good for brown and dark skin because they only attack dark pigments. They’re best for light skin with dark hair. It sucks but that’s what it is. If she’s only using a low setting for upper lip I guess that’s the only exception but for legs you probably need higher setting so I think the nag laser is the only option for us

I have something from Rose Skin or a similar brand like 4 years ago and I think I used it too high actually but it burned me and I'm not sure if it was advertised for deeper skin tone like Kelly Rowland. 😊this video was definitely a highlight of my day 👾 As a black woman of trans experience. I struggle with facial hair. I noticed you mentioned having to shave 2-3 times in a week. Honey I understand the struggle all so well. Imagine having to sugar wax Everyday due to a life threatening medical condition. @@bahbee I bought it a year ago & I’ve been using it consistently. TBH I see a slight decrease in hair growth but I believe there are better options for long term hair reduction specifically for African American skin . Also keep in mind I’m a lot darker than you so your results may be slightly more successful. I just barely made it past the minimum skin color on the color chart & that is the reason my results have been at a snails pace. One thing I recommend you get the Samnyte numbing cream if you plan on purchasing this machine cuz trying to do this with no numbing cream beforehand is insane !!
