Why don't you listen to us? We have been fighting criminals from Germany and idiots from Russia for 1000 years? We are always there when someone gets hurt. WHY has no one ever helped us? We are Poles, we never forget. Napoleon.B.P "if something is impossible, leave it to the Poles."

Fun fact polish pilots was defending england "squadron 303" what did have most kills (" we dont beg for freedome, we fight for it" it was words of 303 squadron officer) or polish battleship ORP "Blyskawica" (thunder) was taking a part in a fight for 96 months on Atlantic covering over 80 allies convoys and when video was saying at the end "we was betrayed" to those who dont know - we was the only country what was not even invited to celebration parade of ending 2 WW because 3 Ally liders before end of the war already decided that they put poland under Stalin rules skipping the fact compleatly that russia was one of the countries who started the war invading poland together with germany. My own grandfather was soldier in AK underground army and after war did end they lock him up in prisone where he did spend 8 years - thats how polish heroes who did fight in war was threated under soviet rules. First after Stalin death they started letting out soldiers from prisons. So calling this a "betrail" is still told very gentle because many of them died in prisons... Stalin was too scared that our soldiers will stand up later against soviet rules in poland and thats why those who didnt accept that ended up dead or in prisons.

This video always makes me cry. I remember as a child listening to a stories from my grandparents. They were teenagers when the war started. They were taken to Germany for forced labour. My grandmother run away couple of times from German family. They always found her and warned if she tries to run away again they will shoot her. She was forced to stay until the end of the war. After the war they came back to their destroyed country and had to start their new life from the scratch. Under Soviet occupation. Poles really suffered a lot.

There is always talk about Hitler, but, in my mind, there is not enouth talk about Stalin and Soviets. And US and Soviets were allies, and they did not want to have problems with such huge country, so in Yalta it was agreed, without asking us, that we will go to Soviet protection zone, behind Iron Courtain. And we stayed there until 1989. Karolina/Poland

As a democratic country.. your government is you. They have the ability to do what they do because you gave them the right to do so. The other thing you mention is that "There're borders for a reason. You do you within your border." That's exactly the point. Russia thinks about Poland as a land that should be within their borders (or at least country they have influence over) cause iron curtain and eastern block bla bla bla ... . They say that Poland is ungrateful, because we don't respect that they "save us" from Germany.

7:00 russia was never a real enemy, they are like this dog that runs to you barking but if you don't run and actually face him he runs to hide. the difference is that in case of this dog you don't get to kick it but russians aren't that smart. They tried a lot of times and they never succeeded, only with stronger friends that they don't have now. If they try again we will be very happy to greet them like everytime before

That's the thing. One of our officers let himself hey caught and transferred to Auschwitz to get first hand information of the horrors and prepare plan to rescue it. He gave his report to French, British and Americans. All of which burried it and didn't lift a finger. Didn't even told their soldiers, that's why american troops were so shocked when they discovered german camps at Dachau and other places. Nobody told them what we were really suffering through
