Thanks for putting up this video. For clarification, does the expiry of the lock-up add shares to the number of outstanding shares or to the float? I thought the lock-up expiry just frees up insider shares, which had already been issued and count as part of the outstanding shares; therefore, the number of outstanding shares won't increase, but the float will.

Does it have to be IPO? How about when a company offers share dilution to new investors at lower prices? Would there be a lock up period for this as well?

My Broker does not allow you to trade IPO until after it hits open market, like two hours or so after IPO opens, no "MARKET ON OPEN ORDERS" either. Anybody can suggest a platform that lets you get in on the release of IPO?

It is generally 90-180 days after the IPO, but you can search on such sites as CNBC etc etc! Please stay tuned, more educational videos are coming!
