That is one of the cleanest ipods I've ever seen! And for that much that's an absolute deal! Imo if the battery still works and if it lasts you long enough then you should keep it as is! Also, that's just how 6th/7th gens are with the original drive, they take a little while to load music and album art, I would suggest a iFlash Solo with a new replacement battery if you do plan on modding it, keep in mind the 80GB 6th gens can take at most 128GBs of storage, also I recommend that when opening it, take your time and try to unclip the front from the back, maybe a new front and back might be a good idea if you do damage the back or front I like your taste btw! :)

I forgot to ask you something. I have the 6 or 7th gen with 120gb HD. I cant tell the different from the 6 to the 7 and weakipedia shows a list that pionts to the 6 gen. I want to chanf the still working HD to the SSD or the CF cards. Can you assist in a selection so I dont comit a mistake in getting the wrong parts? Watching your video again. Thank you!

I think you are talking about what would be best for a flash mod? I would recommend getting an Iflash sd card adapter and then getting a micro sd card with a micro sd to sd adapter. You can go to Elite Obsolete Electronics he sells everything you need. A 128gb micro sd card with the adapter is $13.99 and the sd to iPod adapter is $34.99. The iflash is a little more expensive but it’s worth knowing it will work. I would also recommend getting a lot of iPod opening tools and a new battery so you don’t have to open it again any time soon.

I’m interested in getting a iPod classic I currently have a iPod touch still going strong it was the last iPod I bought and the battery life is getting shorter and shorter I will charge it up before going to work and then listen to it on the way and by the time I turn it back on when leaving work it’s already at 50% my job is only 2 miles and it takes me a half hour to walk it when it was new I could get 2 days out of it before I needed to charge it again and I’ve been looking at eBay for a classic that’s been fully refurbished with new battery and drive

I would recommend getting a 5th gen iPod classic rather than the 6th or 7th gen like the one in the video because if something breaks the 5th gen is way easier to get into. Also, the 5th gen has a little better sound because it has a special audio chip or something. But the 6th and 7th gen’s feel a lot more premium because of the metal front plate.

Damn. You should just throw all your ipods away. I don't particularly like the artists and bands you mentioned but I know and heard their many songs. And yes. I listened to the proclaimers, the pretenders, Lyle Lovett, trace Adkins, flock of seagulls, Tracy Chapman and Mozart. You should broaden your mind some more.
