Thank you so much for these amazing tips, they were super helpful! By watching whis video, I realized that I used to drop uke's shoulder and so my ippon seoi nage didn't come out.

Thank you for all the instruction. I try some throws but when it doesn’t go my way quickly I pull guard. This is really going to help me in my jiu jitsu journey. Again thank you 🙏

Very useful information. I am looking forward to your upcoming instructional release! Trying to make headway on some broad principles regarding forward throws - is it fair to say that if comparing, for example, 1] uchi mata and 2] ippon seoi nage that 1] uchi mata allows you to bring their head down, so having your hips / knee under your partner is not necessary [although almost certainly more powerful] vs 2] seoi nage, the inability to bring their head down requires another means to convert the off-balance stage into the levered lift and final throw, in this case by putting your knee line at a lower height than uke's knee line and your hip line lower than uke's hip line? I've been watching your series on these two throws and searching for a singular cue that distinguishes these throws from each other and also gives the their own unique utility. I have about 17+ years of Bjj experience and and interesting conversion between Bjj and judo is in the hook sweep [I believe Sumi gaeshi is the proper name?] and uchi mata, insomuch as they are fundamentally the same motor pattern, one from standing and one while seated, and using your support leg to chase uke's support leg is a great way to overcome the follow up resistance in both the throw and the sweep. These are the kinds of insights I'm searching for - any thoughts you have on this would certainly be appreciated! If you have any ideas you're digesting regarding Bjj I'd me more than happy to go over them if you would find that useful. :] Thanks and take care
