After delivery postpartum depression ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് അറിയാമായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷേ എനിക്ക് പോസ്റ്റ് ഡിപ്രഷൻ വരുമെന്ന് ഞാൻ കരുതിയിരുന്നില്ല. ആരംഭത്തിൽ തന്നെ ഞാനെന്റെ ഭർത്താവിനോട് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു എനിക്ക് പോസ്റ്റ് പാറ്റേൺ ഡിപ്രഷൻ ആണ് എന്നുള്ളത്. അത് ഭർത്താവ് കാര്യായിട്ട് എടുത്തില്ല അത് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയതുമില്ല. ദിവസങ്ങൾ ചെല്ലുംതോറും പോസ്റ്റാന്റിനെ വല്ലാത്ത ഭ്രാന്തിയാക്കി കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. കുഞ്ഞിനെ കൊന്നു കളയാം എന്ന് വരെ ഞാൻ ആലോചിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോ എന്റെ കുഞ്ഞിനെ ഏഴുമാസമായി. ഇതുവരെ ആ പോസ്റ്റ് ഡിപ്രഷൻ എന്നെ വിട്ടു മാറിയിട്ടില്ല. ഇപ്പോഴും ഞാൻ ഇടയ്ക്കൊക്കെ വെറുതെ കരയുകയും പെട്ടെന്ന് സങ്കടം വരെ ഭ്രാന്ത് ദേഷ്യപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യാറുണ്ട്. എന്നിട്ട് ഇതുവരെ ആരും മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല എന്റെ സ്വന്തം അമ്മ എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞത് എനിക്ക് ഭ്രാന്താണ് എന്നെ മെന്റൽ ഹോസ്പിറ്റൽ കൊണ്ടിടണം എന്നാണ്. എല്ലാവരും കൂട്ടത്തോടെ എന്നെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി കൊണ്ടു തന്നെയാണ് ഇപ്പോഴും ഇരിക്കുന്നത്. ഞാൻ ആത്മത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുമോ എന്നവരെ എനിക്ക് പേടിയുണ്ട്. എന്റെ ഭർത്താവിനോട് ഇത്ര പ്രശ്നം പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് മനസ്സിലാവുന്നില്ല. എന്റെ കുഞ്ഞിനോട് വല്ലാതെ ദേഷ്യം കാണിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. എനിക്കത് പിടിച്ചുനിൽക്കാൻ പറ്റുന്നില്ല ആകെ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട നിൽക്കുന്ന ഒരു അവസ്ഥയിലാക്കാണെങ്കിൽ പോയിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്.
