Crap support particularly from the Sir Bobby Lower. Too many people just standing with arms crossed silently or muttering and sighing. You can see it in your video. No effort to raise the team. Yet all happy to sing and invade the pitch when the team is getting promoted. McKenna asked for support and we failed him. Gotta do better on and off the pitch.

Nice comment about Palace fans and they are always good wherever they go . Being an older fan , I really would like Ipswich to stay up given their history... Mariner and Mills will always stand out for me.. Portman road had a better buzz about it in the eighties , bit noisier but seems to have gone a bit quiet.. Under Glasner (and we need to stick with him) it feels like a process that will take time but patience , a brilliant academy and spotting players from lower leagues makes us an exciting outfit for the future...

You’re living in a fantasy land mate. This isn’t league one or championship anymore. Palace have had 11 years in the prem with 100s of millions to spend. We still have players from league one despite having spent all we could in the summer. Palace are ahead of us in many ways. Even then the margins were fine in terms of losing. To assume that we could have beaten them with different tactics is arrogant and you don’t even say what they are.

We still have league one / championship players like burns, Clarke, Chaplin, etc. Plainly that makes a difference. You only have to look at the disparity in promoted teams getting relegated. All three last season. You seem to think that Ipswich can just rock up and easily do away with teams like palace and West Ham and Everton. We are struggling to compete with them. That’s obvious. If it was as easy as simply changing a formation then I suspect people with far more football nous and experience than you would have worked that out. It’s not about systems it’s about the quality of players we have. Very few would get into most premier league sides.

Disappointing performance and result for Town. I wonder why Sam Morsy is allowed to show his Muslim religious beliefs by not wearing the LGBTQ captains armband whilst Guehi is warned for showing his Christian beliefs whilst wearing his armband. (From a heterosexual ITFC fan). Personally I think all players should be free to follow their conscience but thinking it might have been better to have passed the armband to another player for the last couple of games.
