Leeds fan here. Congrats to Ipswich on a fantastic season. Promotion is fully deserved and has been achieved through having a go in every match. In my time Ipswich have always been a club with a bit of magic about them, often punching above their weight, and that late 70's early 80's team was one of the all-time great English league sides. A 'proper' top division has Ipswich in it in my book. Hope you can stay there. It's a tall order for every promoted club these days.

Hi Alex, This vlog captured the atmosphere perfectly. Huge respect to the Aussie and Kiwi fans who came over for the game. When we were promoted last season I predicted a mid-table finish but Kieran McKenna clearly had other ideas. Sometimes it's nice to be wrong. That away win at Sunderland last August turned out to be the start of an amazing journey. All those fans of other clubs who predicted Ipswich would "soon get found out" have gone quiet. Thanks for your hard work in making and uploading these vlogs. You've got some new grounds to visit next season.

Great stuff Alex..... I'll never forget being down my local watching Town beat Barnsley at Wembley. The heartache of '86, so many play-off attempts then the elation of promotion. The heavy heart I felt one Sunday at an 80th birthday meal in Manchester and the news filtered through that Roy Keane was joining town knowing he was not the right choice for really a family club and subsequently the way he decimated and shattered the confidence of the team. I remember writing a letter to Town of how he poorly treated Martijn Reuser who was such a battler when the chips were down.... Your coverage has been superb buddy and I've thoroughly enjoyed it.. Hoping my health improves this year to get back to the 8-10 away games I'd get to each year (I'm right down in the south west)... Whatever happens next year, we have to keep Kieran McKenna; he's patient and instills that and great confidence in every player to work collectively and back each other to the hilt; it's great to watch and feel part of it ......... Can't wait! :-)
