Because it’s so creamy freeze it for an hour (or overnight when you know you can’t use it again without sharpening it) and then sharpen it immediately after removing it. It’s not a perfect system, but it’s better than nothing.

OMG! I got a Hikari single eyeshadow early in my Ipsy subscription and I must have given it a good review because I got one every 3 to 4 months for years! My first one was in a very nice pot. But then they changed to these flimsy plastic pans. I see they've changed the packaging again. Footnote: they are very good eyeshadows, creamy, pigmented and goes on easily. I got that wrinkle cream. My Ipsy Plus came taped together with 7 products in it and the 2 add-ons I purchased for $3, the wrinkle cream is one of the add-ons but I purchased a serum. But I'm pretty sure the Post Office messed up my box & other subscribers box and just stuffed products in the boxes, taped it shut & sent it on. I got products that didn't match my spoiler and 2 extra products! I feel bad for the subscriber that has 3 products in their box because I have 2 of their products! I notified Ipsy so they can know that the Post Office has them looking bad in these makeup streets!

My favorite video of the month from you! I didn’t get the regular glam bag because I got the plus for the first time this month. I was so excited to unbox and try everything on! Though I think past glam bag pluses were better. I may skip the plus for June and get the normal glam bag based on the spoilers that are out already. Also I got the Illamasqua lip liners in the plus that I’ll never use so giving them away in the unboxing if one of y’all can actually use them and give them a happy life :)

9:40 speaking of Claire's, I was at hyvee (a grocery store in Missouri) and I saw a Claire's rack. Like an actual miniature Claire's store. It was about 3 feet long and both sides and the ends had stuff on them, which is weird for hyvee to have that. I was super weirded out. Oh and all the Claire's here are still poppin. I go there all the time. They have nice earrings and not just the cheesy little girl ones either. So does icing, its store for older girls.

I loved this months bag. I got a totally different bag. I got the eyeliner, an Ofra liquid lipstick, nail polish, a four color eyeshadow palette in gold/bronze shimmer and A chapstick. I Loved it! Ipsy is getting much better than boxycharm so far for me.

This jewel/emerald "moss" look on you is beautiful. With the tie dye, the headband and the green, I would imagine you going to the park or somewhere fun but relaxed to have a picnic, etc... I tend to go for neutrals also but recently started trying more colors and I think we want to stick to our auburn/gold/copper/browns as a comfort zone. Every look you've tried, I've loved on you.

Alexandria, I know you don't look at your ipsy ahead of time since you unbox them for us but I just had to share. I have been an ipsy subscriber for over 5 years. I love it. I've canceled other boxes but always love my ipsy. Get a good balance of products. Last month, I was disappointed I got 2 moisturizers. I just looked at my June sneak peak and every single product I'm getting is skin care (including 2 masks). If your "skin care heavy" bag isn't the same as what I'm getting, they aren't doing a good job. I'm seriously going to miss makeup this month.

I love the green eye look! Just needs a touch of bronze or gold (in the corners of your eyes?) and it would pop! Reduce the highlight and go with a more subtle blush. For the lips, try a pink with brown undertones.

My bag was one product off of your adventurous bag! I didn't get the eyeliner and instead got an IBY highlighter in 24k. I had trouble with the eyeshadow too. I got a different green eyeshadow a few bags ago and I like that one so much better. The Estate eyeshodow is pretty in the pan but when you put it on its not the most flattering. But I thought the look you did looked great! Once you put in the winged liner and mascara it came together well!

Even if the eyeshadow wasn't perfect the first time, I think you should play with it a little more because the green looks absolutely stunning on you! I got the Buxom gloss as well and I really like it. Also, that eyeliner has impressive staying power for a pencil. I swatched it and had to use makeup remover to get it off my hand.
