now understand why my pump bushing was fused onto my toqure converter. great stuff! those tips are really helpfull, also had the problem with opening the oil pump and the little ball fell out, didn't get any forward gears as you said.

The reason the bore taper is on the bushing is for ease of insertion.

If the check ball is not positioned correctly, would you have forward movement in limp mode?

What's also interesting is that trans is a 6g72 v6 trans..

Hi from cold Russia .I have w4a32 , haaaaalp! Oil pump not produce line pressure when oil is hot . May be tuned reduction pressure or line valve preassure?
