i’m honestly in luv with this competition, firstly the girls are LITERALLY SUPPORTING EACH OTHER, and you can see they really mean it. secondly, the mentors are honestly so cute, supportive, funny and bubbly- it’s so cute and it makes the trainees at ease~ no pressure. shaking is honestly my favourite, along with baby monster an, snow kong, kiki xu and xin liu. ofc they’re all amazing but i hope these 5 are secured with a spot 🥺

Shaking and Yuxin are my faves so far. They are killing it with their talent and charm. Love this programme, not all seriousness but fun as well. Also, I've never seen camaraderie in any other idol producer programmes more than I've seen in YWYS2. It's refreshing and shows it doesn't need drama to gain views. Chogiwa-ness I watched the first idol producer but the second one was kinda boring for me. This one is very good. I also watched the korean versions too. X 101 was ok and 48 was ok but first seasons were the best. The Japanese boy version is eh. Produce 101 China girls which created Rocket girls wasnt bad but it had too much going on. I also watched under 19 and idol school which were not bad and Nizi project was good to watch if you have no other shows to watch. Sorry I just love idol survival shows!

Hmmm... however I think she got nervous for the actual performance because I think it fell flat... but I realise it must have been a lot of pressure because she must have felt the other contestants judging her as well. Yuxin was able to design the dance choreography herself by incorporating her own styles, and smartly adding the popping elements in the opening. I don’t know if I should praise iQiyi more for giving this task that helped Yuxin shine, or it’s just Yuxin who can shine no matter what. She has that power on stage, which comes from her talent and practice over 11 years, she surprised me every single time. For those who doesn’t know the rule, the task was to have the 9 class A trainees (in pink shirts) to come up with a freestyle solo part based on a given part of the theme song within an hour, and the other trainees will choose the one they like most based on their performance, the one who gets the most votes will be the center of the theme song.

In Episode 3 when Yuxin first came on stage, KUN says “I’ve heard about you, I know you and I’ve watched many videos of you training.” 【”我知道你，我也认识你，我还看过你的很多训练视频。”】Just before XIN is about to go offstage, KUN stooped her in her tracks by saying to her “Let’s talk when there’s time” (有空聊一下). In this episode, KUN says in front of ALL 108 girls, cast and crew, during her moment of triumph on stage: “Yu Xin, actually you don’t have to care about other people’s opinions. If you feel pressured, that’s okay. I’ll bear the burden together with you.”【雨昕，其实完全不用在意别人的眼光或看法。如果有压力，没事，我陪你一起扛。】 And given their background: they both competed in the same TV show in 2012 when they were both 13/14 years old. KUN got eliminated very early on, but XIN went on to become the champion of the show. And though they’ve never met each other face to face before Youth with You, KUN says he knows of her and have watched MANY of her dance training videos!!! She must have made such an impression on him!)

Myla T. Killa it’s called 《向上吧！少年》but I don’t think there are any translated versions of it. It was aired back in 2012. KUN got eliminated very early on (along with TF Boys Karry Wang and Jackson Yee, SWIN/R1SE Liu Ye and SNH48 Ju Jingyi - all of whom XIN defeated when she was 13 years old).

He did make a point to let her know during the first evaluation that he personally thought she deserved an A (but was ultimately outvoted by the other mentors) and during the position evaluation he told her to believe in herself and believe that miracles can happen after she said she didn’t think she can get 400 votes to win Rap for her group. Then she did. It’s little moments like these I found cute but I know at the end of the day, this is a show and Kun’s friendly caring nature makes him easy to ship with anyone (sooo many ships in Idol Producer for him). But if anything, I want them to do some collaboration stage someday once this is all over with. I think it would be amazing

Shaking doesn't want to compet for the center she just wanted to entertain everyone the most important thing for shaking is that she wanted to just show her rapping skills. If shaking wanted the center position she wouldn't definitely do this she would perform something memorable or impact the audience. Like the single eyelid girls she said that she was desperate to win for the group and they did win because of shaking guidance.
