I honestly think it’s so disrespectful/hurtful to single out members like that “she’s dancing it wrong” like who the fuck doesn’t know themselves?? It is not constructive criticism, by signalling her out it doesn’t help her in any way and as a result she gets more nervous and doesn’t perform well. I’m also in the opinion that it’s more important to enjoy dancing and put your heart in it than getting dance moves on sync, but Lisa seems to not be teaching any of that
@DUY-CHIEN4 жыл бұрын
For people who say that Lisa's so strict, scary and tough: She's there to be a mentor, not to be a babysitter. Edit:some comments say that lisa could be more soft and patient, she should use the right tone, her strictness may makes them frustrated,...:))So what did you expect from a dance mentor with perfectionism when the trainees making mistakes???Buying them candies and encourage in a cute accent"let's try hard next time"?!!!!Or should her be strict and teach them properly???

that girl was just too nervous. she was trying very hard to concetrate and remember every move. she even said that she tried very hard to follow the other two cause the music was fast and that she hadn't learnt the whole choreo. so, it must have been hard for her to concetrate to all those things AND try to control her facial expressions.

Someone already said it on twitter, but “if you think she’s being rude you obviously haven’t taken a dance class.” The best dance teachers are the ones who are tough on their students because it pushes them to work hard. If Lisa was softer on the trainees they wouldn’t try as hard and they wouldn’t realise they are doing the small details like the heart sign wrong
@zm11974 жыл бұрын
I'm glad I don't have twitter. Most people I see in these comments are praising her and honestly I have become a HUGE fan of her because of her honesty and strictness. Those people just want to drag her for unnecessary reasons. Lisa knows what she is doing and damn I'm really impressed with her!
@sofielizabeth-moz97834 жыл бұрын
My dance teacher was always like this, I'd didn't matter if you were an advanced dancer or not She told you what you did wrong. Never sugar coated anything. If you did something wrong she went up and said it as it is. As a dancer I think that really helped me because it pushed me to give it my all and do a better job. so what Lisa is doing isn't mean at all. She knows what shes doing and she wants to push them so they can be successful like her.

My dance teacher used to call me a prissy little bitch every time i fucked up🤣🤣 Lisa is actually being really nice! @unicorn-wm1qt4 жыл бұрын
exactly what i was going to say. This applies on ANY kind of teacher or instructor as well. if they go soft on you, you'll never realise how bad you're doing, or how important it is; and then you won't try because you think it isn't serious.

I've watched every episode and all I feel is that Lisa is applying the standards in YG to train these trainees, and I wish I could have a strict mentor like her because she is the kind of person that can help you improve. I didn't know Lisa much before the show, and right now I am totally in love with her, not just because of her softness, power, and charisma on stage, but also how serious she becomes when it comes to dancing and performing, which perfectly explains why she is one of the most popular main dancers in K-pop girl groups. -- respect & love from China.

Y'all would criticize Lisa if she's too easy, and y'all are criticizing her for being too strict. Personally, I would rather have a mentor who knows what they're doing rather than one who is easy on every trainee. Being a competitive dancer myself, this is the norm - it takes discipline and drive, and obviously, she's going to hold the trainees to the same standards she was held at. If they can't get something down as simple as counting down fingers in time, netizens are going to tear them apart. Their role is to be an entertainer and she is simply preparing them so they can be the best - if they don't want to put in the effort or better themselves, then what's the point? (Edit: For those asking where these criticisms of Lisa are, they were here when this video was newly uploaded.)

Nah you don't always have to be strict for someone to well perform a cheoreography. In a show called The Unit for example, a guy named Daewon teached a band how to dance and he wasn't strict at all. He kept encouraging them to do better each time and the band ended up improving a lot. Even the most harsh dance teacher like Bae Yoon Jung gave some compliments sometimes and some trainees gaines some confidence, so it prooves that Lisa wasn't too harsh. It also shows that people can do well under pressure but little compliments and kindness keep them going, so even though Lisa said they didn't do the moves right, she showed them what to do without being too strict and that's what all dance teachers should do. She had the right balance between strict and kind. (so my point is I don't agree with the fact that all teachers have to be strict, but I agree with the fact that she wasn't rude)

I’m not a dancer, but I have seen many dance shows and seen dance instructors far more strict and mean towards the dancers. Lisa is that mentor who’s tough on you yet she actually helps you improve and make the dance look amazing
@Rizalreez4 жыл бұрын
Lisa probably trained waaaaaay harder than this. She deserves to be this strict.

Ah yes, I remember Jennie telling in an interview that only Lisa get grade A in their monthly exam where they sing, rap and dance. They do solo, duo and group. They choose the song they sing or dance to. They choose their own outfit and do their own make up. They were graded in every aspects from self presentation to stage performance.

Okay, anyone bashing Lisa is someone who doesn't want to learn and get better. They are training to be IDOLS, basically. You have to be waaay better than the rest.

Ikr infact being strict with trainees will make them afraid but also motivate them to work harder, people aren't trying to understand this fact, lisa is fulfilling her job, many mentors in this world have to be harsh , lisa is not the only one
