I have a guess. I think originally this show is just about those two males and their bromance(maybe something even deeper than just bromance u know?). But since the Chinese television law or something does not allow “deeper bromance” they brought in a third character, the girl, to act as the love interest of one of them. Maybe her character is actually not that essential but they needed one for the show to be broadcasted.

Well, I think this is going to be a really, cute series, even if it is not going to be the Boy Love thing I was hoping for. Both guys are cute and they seem to have good chemistry together. Hell, I'd watch this for the backdrop alone. Absolutely, love everything I'm seeing everywhere in this series, and wish to God, we had more of it in the world today. This was a time when everything was beautiful and had tons of character. I absolutely, loved the backdrop of the Untamed series, as well. My God, some of it was so, so, beautiful. Good lord I can't believe I've found this series! I love it! I know everyone's getting on about Bai being annoying, but that was suppose to be her character. A Lois Lane if you will, who'll naturally (or unnaturally) push the bromance everyone's looking for forward. XD Welp, looks like KZbin's improving and giving me some gems to watch!
