first episode, and i have to say that i'm impressed on how sharp hu yi tian's improvement in acting is! i mean, he definitely acted well previously in ALSB, and Go Go Squid, but this is another whole new level, he's the lead role, he mainly has a lot of script to memorize. and this genre is totally the opposite with the previous roles he has played. i'm in love with Hu Yi Tian!!!❤ i know we all love him to be paired with SY, but let's support him in taking this new role! ❤ definitely worth to watch, and btw i'm loving the story so far! Zhang Yun Long looks so freaking gorgeous with that inspector suits, OMG! Zhang Yun Long & Hu Yi Tian are the main reason why I'm watching this + the genre itself is so much convincing already.

I've watched this entire series twice now from beginning to end, and enjoyed it even more, the second time around. I've read such negative comments regarding the female lead under this and the related videos. It's one thing if you don't like the character she plays. However, some are attacking her for being a woman, which is ironic because many of the attackers are themselves women. I'm a woman, and I'm also Black. It's pretty good for the first episode. No dilly dally and straight to the point. The mystery is upheld and the sequence of unfolding the scenes is not rushed. The fashion though is a blend of 1920s and contemporary to captivate a larger audience. I am not a fan of Hu Yi Tian's hairdo. They could have kept it classic but I guess they wanted it to be chic. I appreciate the comic relief in between serious drama, it's exhilarating.
