8:31 Some wheel kits do not snap in this easily. I thought I was doing something wrong, so I came to this video. After seeing him smoothly insert them with moderate force, I knew that I had to use more force. A LOT MORE.

IQAir’s HealthPro® is great! I have one at home and it works miracles. I hope IQAir air cleaners can become the number 1 brand in the world in the field of air purification...

Hey, Bradley. I know it's a lot of money to throw down, but I can't say that regret buying these machines at all. I spent $300 on an AirAlive machine with great reviews on Amazon but it just didn't cut it and the negative ions actually caused me to be worse off because it caused the particles to be negatively charged and then they are attracted to your lungs when you breathe them in. the IQAir filters don't use ion technology. Guess it depends on what you major requirement is for a purifier.

Great review 11 years ago I would love to know more about it after all these years of use. Please could you tell us more? I’m just allergic like yourself from bowling and every single natural thing in the air. Please tell me more. How do you think of it after all these years of fuse how was the performing? Will you still advise them ? Very much appreciated Appreciate it.

I still have both units in my home and use them every day. They still work great. Replacement filters are expensive especially if you run your unit often but these machines have really held up over the years. Zero problems!

I agree with you. I spent a lot of money on other air filters and they were not up to par to my expectations. I had an environmental specialist come to my house and these are the machines they use and the same technology of Hyper-Hepa filters for clean rooms. At speed 3 you could easily have a conversation, speed 1 would probably be similar to a computer fan if it was running fast. At speed 6 it is pretty loud to the point that you'd have to turn up the TV a bit louder to hear but its not bad.

I bought one I notice there is not a strong wind speed coming out of the top even at 6. is this typical. it seems to be filtering though.

Thank you for the reply, but my IT manager is looking for specific AMP usage before he will allow it to be used for the server room. I calculated it at just under 2 AMPS based on 215 watts @ 110V, but if you IQ Air has a rating for it, that would be better.

The IQAir HealthPro Plus are extremely quiet because of their ultra modern design. IQAir air purifiers feature unique double-walled housing to reduce sound transmission and eight shock absorbers to reduce vibration. IQAir follows the ISO 3744 standard for measuring the decibels. Each unit has a variable fan with 6 speed settings. Below lists the decibel levels for each speed on all IQAir air cleaners: Speed 1 - 43.6 Speed 2 - 51.0 Speed 3 - 58.0 Speed 4 - 61.9 Speed 5 - 64.6 Speed 6 - 71.9

Thanks for the detailed unboxing. I was wondering if their is any indication of who many AMPS it uses? I'd guess about 1 AMP, but if its indicated anywhere on the machine, I'd appreciate you posting it.

Thanks for the review! I wonder if the fan in the new edition generates a higher pitch sound compared to the old edition. I've read that in a comment on a forum, that person actually preferred old edition due to a more soothing sound. Did you have the chance to compare old and new edition sound wise? Thanks for reading!

The IQair seems to produce a fair amount of heat on high power. The motor has to work hard to push and pull air though the thick filters.
@lymeguy111 жыл бұрын
From the manufacturer: Even though the IQAir New Edition is very powerful, it still requires no more power than a conventional light bulb. At the heart of this air purifier is the ultra-efficient centrifugal, high performance fan and its maintenance-free motor. Delivers up to 780 cubic feet of air per minute while requiring as little as 27 watts of power at the lowest speed and up to a maximum of 215 watts at the highest speed. As a result, It costs only pennies per day to run.

After so long, do you still think it was worth it?
@fastmoneyflow4 жыл бұрын
I bought mine a year ago and the prices went up, i paid $1000 at home depot. They are worth it though. I have severe allergies, asthma, and now breast cancer where i need a clean air environment. It is big so i had it in my living room. My Winix broke in the bedroom after only a year, so 3 days ago i ordered the Airmega 300 with all the good reviews on amazon. I sent it back today, did not do anything for my allergies, sneezed and blew my nose with the machine a few feet from me. I moved my IQ Air in my bedroom and with it running for 30 minutes on high all my symptons were gone and i could breathe again. I think I'll just leave my IQ in my bedroom from now on. The filters are very expensive but you do not have to change them out all at once. The premax filter on the bottom usually last up to a year and cost $54, the VOC around $169 and last hepa are about $199 but they last 2 yrs. You can get all 3 for $350, but i prefer to buy as i need them.

Why is one taller then the other??
@lymeguy16 жыл бұрын
They are both the same height. There are wheels that are removable on each unit. I have the wheels on both of mine for ease of mobility. I think the angle of the purifiers makes it looks like one is shorter than the other.

it smells better because of the deodorizer, doesnt mean the air is better. How could your air get so dirty in the house
@Firstfalconfree5 жыл бұрын
The EPA says indoor air quality is typically significantly worse than outdoor air quality. Off-gassing of building materials (like most carpets, insulation, manmade wood products, adhesives, paint, etc.), pet hair and dander, cleaning products, "deodorizers" like Febreeze and plug-ins, flame retardants from furniture and mattresses, pollen from your clothes, hidden mold colonies, the list is endless. It isn't hard to check if air purifier are working either. There are little machines that test the air for particulate matter.
