Could anyone translate at least the general meaning? :)

@@Ishikaa12 I'm a little late on this, but the overall meaning is something like; 'I don't want to work; I'd rather stay with my family & go hunting & fishing, I mean; why would I want to go to work when I'm surrounded by all this natural beauty.' I may be over-interpreting. My buddy Hamish plays this on his Celtic music radio show. Just look up Maui Celtic: it's a great show.

I think. It means I don’t want to work tomorrow. I’d rather go seal hunting. Such a beautiful duet. Reminds me of the late Peter itulu and susan cbc weather song.

From what I’ve read, this is like an Inuktitut “Friday Song”...really happy and glad that the work week is done!

I love this tune and love to hear Nancy singing. I love her throat singing and have a granddaughter who is practicing when I play my Aakuluk CD. Her voice in this song is so beautiful. Great job.

Language aside.... the music (melody) carries the feelings of humanity. It simply beautiful to listen to.

Great tune. I understand it expresses the anguish of spending time away from "the land". Love the melody and sentiment. Even though I don't know the language it seems all the more mysterious for it nevertheless.

Without a job this song wouldn’t have made sense. 😂 Happy weekend hunting. 🎉
