Many people have sung this ghazal by Ghalib. Begum Akhtar, Noor Jahan, even Farida Khanum. Nobody compares to this. She sang almost the entire ghazal. Thank you. The number of great poets, Ahmad Faraz, Amjad Islam Amjad, Ahsan Danish, present in this mehfil at Ashfaq Ahmad’s house in Model Town makes this memorable. Watch how Kishwar Naheed at the beginning of video is being sassy about the singer and the mehman (Ahsan Danish).

Neither Chhayanat nor Nand, I think. Raag Nand has teevra madhyam... missing in this brilliant composition. Sa Ga Ma pattern is misleading but overall composition does not appear to be Nand.
