You guys are being over judgemental. His dad is not bad ... Indian parents are realistic.. added to that they are poor .. So if 18+ person studies or shows interest in any career, its natural for parents to be worried. It is not like western world that teenagers keep wasting valuable years dropping out from education institutes, doing nothing. Iqbal's father gave him a year to figure out his career or help him earn a livelihood for family. Waise bhi, in sports, if you are not playing a team by 18-20, it gets difficult to get a career.
