The thing is that the title we as international audiences know it it's a localization of the actual chinese title which is a bit of a wordplay that can be translated as "The Parting of Orchid and Cang" or even "The Promise of Orchid and Cang" (The cang character referring to the last part of DFQC's name). That's why some people prefer to use the chinese name as it's pronounced: Cang Lan Jue

@@merliah8889 None that I know so far, but rumor says that there was a teaser poster of it in chinese fandom circles, showing both Jiu Yuan and Lord Changheng's coming back, but I haven't been able to find it 🥲 EDIT: I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I PUT CHANGHENG NAME THERE, HE DOESN'T EXIST IN THE NOVEL!!! SORRY I MEANT THE KID GOD THAT GOT TURNED INTO FLOWER IN EP10-11, I FORGOT HIS NAME.

I watched the drama on Netflix and i love it! But this one feels like s complete diffrent story 😅 no romance and i‘m very confused 😅 i try to watch more of this and Hope i can get it 😅❤

This anime is actually a lot closer to the og novel, still added a bunch of things and characters cuz the novel isn't that long, but the FL and ML relationship is mostly the same. Don't worry, the romance is very subtle in the novel too, until it hits both the reader and the mains like a truck.

​@@rosebride5620 But I feel they have changed the dynamics of FL and ML here in the Anime. In the Novel, Orchid always Doubts Devil and he too doesn't care about her until both fall in love with each other. In this Anime, they are showing that Orchid is at par with the Devil and both of them are depending on each other and there is a subtle affection between them. Let's see how they continue in Season 2 😌😌

@@merliah8889 You have a point, and I haven't re-read the novel is quite a while so details are fuzzy for me, maybe I should refreshen some stuff before s2 drops 🤔, after seeing the season finale I feel like they're trying to establish more of a bond so when the conflict and DFQC real goals are made clear, it will hurt both of them much more, which, why not? I have always liked my romance with a generous side of hurt 🥲. The one thing I really, really hope they don't do, is introducing some sort of love triangle like in the drama, I can't explain why, but there's just something about this anime putting DFQC and Jiu Yuan as foils that makes me dread it, because damn, the drama really dragged that with Changheng way more than it should have, and unlike him I actually like Jiu Yuan, so I don't wanna see it here 😅

@@rosebride5620 Right 👍 They are following "Forbidden Romance" troupe which is nice as they may show the development of their love as well as with the conflict which will hurt both of them and thus in this way "The Parting" will be justified and how the Devil redeems himself when he brings Orchid back. Secondly, they will Revive Chen Xiang and Jiu Yuan in Season 2 because they released a poster of them. Adding to it, I feel all the villains of Heaven and Demon Realm will be united against the Devil. Here, Jiu Yuan and Chen Xiang might be his allies and The Conflict involving Orchid and Devil. It sounds amazing 😍 I also feel that they shouldn't involve this stupid love triangle. I love DFQC and Jiu Yuan as follies but having a good heart ❤️ I hope they drop Season 2 soon. I am so hyped up now after rewatching this Anime 🤩
