If you like to do astronomy as a career, you have to first choose physics as a subject when you are selecting subject combinations. Then you have to get selected physics specialization in 2nd year, you will be selected based on physics GPA(noramally 15 students will be selected in a year). After that you need to secure 1st or 2nd upper class to obtain a scholarship to do higher studies in foreign university also you have to do good publications. In Sri Lanka you can find a job in ACCIMT. Other than that there are japura astronomy club & SEDS J'pura, you can learn astronomy much from these societies in university.

First shy එකේ වැඩ කරද්දි පවා තිබ්බ target එක colombo physical එන එක AL physics වලට තිබ්බ ආසාවත් එක්ක. (Recently finished exam and I think I have a good chance for get selected) But exam ඉවර වෙලා මම social media වල හෙව්වාම එයාල physical whole degree එකම compare කරන්නෙ NDT වගේ diploma එක්ක සහ ඇත්තටම එතන extremely competitive කියනවා special එකකට select වෙන්න. So, එතන ගිහින් හොද GPA එකක් maintain කරන්න බැරි උනොත් (cuz I know I"m not that math nerd) special එකක් නැතුව physics higher studies වලට යන්න බැරුව stuck උනොත් (due to limited opportunities) අපරාදයක් වෙයි කියල හිතෙනවා ඇත්තටම හොයල බලද්දි. Sec shy කරන්න හිත හදාගෙන ඔක්කොම කරන් ඉද්දි දාපු vid එකක් මෙක🙂 Physical sc.ගියපු school & class teachersla පවා හරි උත්තරයක් දෙන්නෑ physical යන්නද ඇහුවාම Idk why Sorry මං මෙහෙම හෑලි comment දාන කෙනෙක් නෙමෙයි but this is a lifetime decision ekai ඔයාල හිතන විදිහට මොකද්ද හොදම option එක? I"m stucked :-(
