The spacing between the wheels is a feature. If the middle wheel split is excessive then the manoeuvrability is reduced. So while the ufs bolts may not be accessible the wheel split is balancing having reasonable grind space while maintaining a minimal effective wheel base.

Really wished frame companies would just name their sizes as the actual wheelbase. So AG60C - 252// AG60C - 264 // AG60C - 278. Instead of small/medium/large. Just look at all these “large” frame sizes.. 50/50 Balance 2 L = 270 THEM Street L = 270 Kizer Fuild 5 = 266 Create Originals L = 263 Kaltik Stealth L = 260 Also the AG60 are not that much longer then the Entente Diridari (276mm) it’s just 2mm. And Ground Control HD60 comes in XL at 283.

I had just as much trouble as you getting middle wheels in with the white frame. Had to hammer in the axels, im sure my bearings aren't happy but there wasn't any other option. Took about 3 hours to get the middle wheels in for me as well.

I had my first session on these today, but the white version. Rolling Dead 58/92a outers and 58/95a inners. I can't skate flat frames for shit but these are just brilliant. I had no wheelbite issues at all. I mostly skate ledges. I was previously skating Oysi Mediums & I can't see myself going back.
@chrispeel345510 ай бұрын
I got Oysi mediums and they were just sooooooo slow rolling I never even did a trick in them I took them straight off. Did you experience that?
@Stoitism10 ай бұрын
@@chrispeel3455 Nope not at all! What wheel size were you using? I was using Mushroom Blading Tapes 65m outers & Dead 58mm inners. My buddy also uses the same setup and he has no issues either.
@wheelsceneblading10 ай бұрын
They do feel very good on ledges.
@LifetimeShred10 ай бұрын
More on these vs oysi medium. How did wheel bite protection compare? Which wheels on the AG60? I currently ride either oysi med or anti depending on the day/park. I do like the oysi but wish they weren’t so tall. I feel like if there were a oysi low frame optimized for 60 55 55 60 id be in heaven. Thoughts?
@Stoitism10 ай бұрын
@@LifetimeShred The grindblock on the AG60S is only slightly shallower than that on the Oysi mediums and it's not as long either. It is narrower though and the wheelbite protection seems to work perfectly well for me & I'm quite a sloppy skater, which is why I used to skate Oysi medium. Overall the frame is much slimmer too. Interestingly the frame height is almost the same as the oysi mediums but as its optimised for smaller wheels the ride height is closer to the ground making topside tricks much easier. The closest thing for the Oysi "low" frame you want imo would be the Boonies walls for the 50/50 prime frame. And I nearly got those myself but just as I was about to buy them the AG60S dropped so I took a risk on those instead and I'm very happy I did. As I said in my original post, rolling Dead 58/92a outers with 58/85a inners.

When you used the mushroom blading wheels and were slipping out… was it any worse than a new set of Fluid 5s? Do you think the AG 60s could break in and make it more doable? Just wondering cause I really like those face profile wheels for flat.
@wheelsceneblading3 ай бұрын
The fluid V doesn't have a taper on the edge of the frame, the AG60 does and this is what makes it great for cess slides but can also cause slip outs with certain profile wheels. Also, the plastic on the AG60 comes down lower than the Fluid V, which also causes slip outs on certain wheels.

I'll tell you why 1 sided bolts can be a bad idea - if you accidentally overtighten and round off a bolt, you are fucked. Especially with powerslide/kizer making their bolts out of, seemingly, camembert. I just recently had to drill out a THEM bolt - thankfully they at least thought to make the design of their keyed side compatible with regular round allen head bolts - don't that would work with GC but their bolts are actually decent....and don't join in the middle which is also bonkers but that's another story. I honestly don't know why people are so fussed over carrying one extra tiny tool when the consequences of the apparent convenience of not needing to are so dire. Who the fuck honestly doesn't have room for an extra allen key if they're already bringing one? Ridiculous. 'Dat gap' i'd assume is for the manouvrability of the frame. i've certainly found riding my slimlines that it feels more like a smooth rolling anti rocker setup rather than a proper flat setup, and people have related a similar feeling to me about their aeon 60s. Every skate gets that 'natural rocker' bedded in, but with the middle wheels being super far apart, you just have a sort of baby-anti sort of situation for the middle of the foot and all the pivoting is on the toe or heel.
@wheelsceneblading10 ай бұрын
Kizer bolts don’t join in the middle on Fluid V and I’ve never had any strip on me.
