The thing many of us don't know is the OnePlus Frame Aware Scheduling. Also called FAS. Color os has its own inbuilt FAS for newer devices which they tune it for specific games. Unfortunately, it looks like FAS isn't doing its work here. Also the fengchi kernel is set to arrive next month. Hopefully OnePlus 13 global oos also may get it. Iqoo has done really a good job with tuning the chip. But still I feel when you play a more familiar game to FAS such as genshin, I think the FAS would work.

Both devices were on latest updates at the time of making the videos. I know the OP13 has been getting a lot of updates, but it's not possible to re-test on every update. Plus the OP13 belongs to my friend and the iQOO 13 is mine. I don't get free devices from manufacturers.

No, the OnePlus 13 has a very 'slightly better' screen than iQOO 13. The main difference is in HDR rendering, where the OP13 has best most accurate HDR video rendering that I have ever seen. The thing is, I think HDR tone mapping is broken in iQOO 13. 99% won't care, but the 1% will prefer the OP13 screen who are into these type of stuff. Both screens are incredible, but side by side, the OP13 edges the iQOO 13 (barely).

Something that you dont need to pay for unlike a cooler is Direct Deive power on the IQOO which reduces temps, increase power to 120W which is much higher than the OnePlus and gives better cooling. So the IQOO is definitely better

I would like it even more if iQOO updates Monster mode to be able to hit around 12W in this game. As you see in the lap 1, the OP manages a consistent 5-7 fps lead in the most demanding regions, so a cooler costing 1000-1200/- would make it become significantly better than iQOO 13. iQOO 13 is very conservative, throttles at around 42C.

Both will handle these games easily. And if you seriously game, and get a cooler for summer days, the OP13 wins. And overall OP13 is a better phone and worth the extra money. iQOO 13 is also fantastic at it's own price.

​@@techstation365The fps in OnePlus is not stable in the long run. my previous device was OnePlus 9. One of my friend used OnePlus 11r too in the beginning the gaming is very good. Recently I asked him and he said the gaming performance is not good anymore. Just take a look at the OnePlus 12 gaming in bgmi, genshin etc. it can't maintain the fps properly. Those with the gaming channel will know more about this issue.

The iQOO 13 is better for shooting video at the moment due to excellent pro video mode but apart from it the OnePlus is better in all most all other departments of camera performance. Just watch the comparison in details and you'll understand. Both iQOO and OP is worth it but OP is clearly more well rounded. I would suggest if you have the budget then get the OP.

After few years with battery bulge screen will pop off. It's definitely manufacturing defect and all big youtubers are paid to tell its safe with no issues. I will go with oneplus 13. Did not like s25 and s25 plus. No upgrade at all.

Get the OnePlus. Trust me, you will not like the software experience or the UI of iQOO because you will be switching from OxygenOS or an OnePlus device. The experience of OxygenOS on OnePlus is much better than FuntouchOS on the iQOO.

It's in pro gamer mode. It's supposed to let us play at max sustained temps. You can choose to play at balanced mode and it'll be less aggressive.

Bro I am a normal guy with a full time heavy IT job. KZbin is a hobby, I don't have the funds to buy so many devices, nor the time 😂 Nobody sends me free devices. My next videos will be on Pad 7, as I bought it as well for creating content with, else I will be wasting money. iPhone 16 Pro Max I don't think let's you change the config of the game by modifying the game file.

Looks like OnePlus is the better option for gaming. Most of the games aren't as heavy as this one, and OnePlus will definitely manage to deliver a much better framerate. If we attach a cooler, the device will push much better performance. Or we can also conclude that the reason why iQOO throttled less was because it was already throttled. If a device won't push its peak performance, then no way it will gain higher temperature and throttle. This definitely concludes that OnePlus devices are much better for gaming and people refuse to accept it.

Debatable seeing as how much heat the OnePlus generates. However what's not debatable is that if you have a charger the IQOO destroys due to Direct Drive power(Bypass charging)🙃. And seeing as the fact you mentioned a cooler indicates a charger will be near by in which case the IQOO will be much cooler and more stable🙃

@@Delxvinga What's not debatable is the fact that OnePlus actually pushes better peak performance. Even if you use Bypass charging and stuff, it won't be able to overclock the CPU cores to OnePlus levels. I compared the OnePlus 12 and iQOO 12 as well in WUWA, and the results were similar. OnePlus heats up more, uses more CPU and GPU and thus better framerate. BUT, OnePlus didn't throttle at all as I had the battery app disabled in that test which is a huge plus! Simply disabling the battery app prevents it from throttling. This can't be done on an iQOO device, and therefore, the performance will always be lower than OnePlus.

@Delxvinga LOL! That's not how Bypass Charging works. It just results in lower heat generation by bypassing the battery. The CPU won't overclock at all. The CPU will throttle regardless but with Bypass Charging, it will sustain its higher performance for a longer duration. On the other hand, disabling the battery app on OnePlus will prevent throttling at all temperatures unless the CPU temperature touches 96°C.

I have iqoo neo 7 pro even in winter. Its gpu never cross 50% of the max clock speed howering between 2-3.3 watt use even with cooler connected to it and it suck for emulation. I regret every day why i bought this. Funny thing is i pervious realme x2 pro with sd855+ outperform 8+ gen1 in winlator because it never uses the gpu.

That might be a winlator thing with drivers not properly supporting the 8+ Gen 1. Check in 3Dmark WL Extreme what's the clock speed/power with the GPU. We have iQOO 7 and iQOO 13 at home (and other brands as well with high end Snapdragon) and both are great for emulation (iQOO 13 not that great yet for x86 emulation due to immature drivers but a beast nonetheless).

The reason because OnePlus throttled towards the end is because it was running the game at a much higher framerate pushing its peak performance thus more heat which wasn't the case with iQOO 13. iQOO 13 never tried to push higher performance and kept the temperatures low.
