I went to the same lodge this past July. When I went, the river was much closer to the steps! When you're there, you realize how important climate is! Weather down there changes quickly! Your video and accompanying music was beautiful. I love the Napo River and the people are wonderful. Seeing the sunset and rise over the canopy is life changing. Thank you for posting this video of your experiences!

Life in the Amazon basin seems to be a quite life. A life along the river where the hours of the day is spend at our own pace. There is no worries of hunger, food is aplenty. There is no need to work for others full time. A life that still exist but forgotten by the urbanite.

Iquitos is wonderful but it has its certain limits, I went in and it worked for me to go with the agency Yakumama tours, there is another certified agency called exprorama, their hostel even has a jacuzzi hahaha but they are much more expensive, in fact if you go to the jungle you will have Take the issue of allergies into account, since being in the jungle and if you have a complication, the nearest hospital is almost 2 hours away and can be dangerous!! Go with caution and with professionals for this destination, never choose cheap tours with "supposed" guarantees or without guarantees, the jungle is wonderful and anestral
