If you load 3rd party IRs (and also the included ones) you get a high shelf cut filter at around 6 kHz, that means you cannot load them for professional recording because you ll never get the exact IR of for example Ownhammer. That is absolutley weird. Sent it back!

***SIGNAL CHAIN = Ibanez JPM100 P1 into my Fractal Audio FM3 with no cab block into the FS07***

Nice I’m glad your getting some sponsors! I love my hughes and kettner Redbox live but it sounds too squashed Into my DAW. This sounds great and way better. Keep up the good work

Many thanks Drew! Yeah some gear works better live then in studio. I get good results with my A and B rigs (Fractal and Mesa) but each definitely does it’s own thing as well.

Very informative video. I have a question - Do i put this last on the signal chain on my pedalboard? Or after my dirt pedals then into my modulation/delay/reverb? I plan to purchase one to improve my guitar stage sound, the setup on one of my gigs is - Guitar - effects - D.I. - one output goes into a guitar amp, the balanced out into the mixing board. Guitar signal is fed into the stage monitors, which sounds horrible (too much highs and lows). Thanks in advance, cheers!

Put it either as the VERY LAST thing in your chain, or after your AMP/Dirt pedals. It depends on if you want your mod and time FX to act like they're in the FX LOOP, or POST like in a studio. Try both ways and see what happens!

@@ZackSeifMusic thanks for the advice, will try both. Cheers!

Nice, comprehensive and the the point vid. Question... I run a reactive load on my Mesas and reamp the slave out to a clean solid state amp for lower vols to a live cab, this works well. The live speaker in this setup provides the rolloff. Most vids with the FS07 I've seen are running off an amp sim, wondering how it would work off of the Slave out? TIA
@ZackSeifMusic2 жыл бұрын
You would just plug the Slave out of the Mesa into the input of this pedal, and then plug the output of your pedal into your interface input for recording.

I wanted to know where is this and the flamma amp needed is it to play in monitor without real amp ? Or mostly to use with pc ?
@ZackSeifMusic2 жыл бұрын
Hey Alex, This is a cabinet situation pedal, so you only need it if you have pedals that sound like amps, but you don’t have the cab sim or IR included. This pedal only sounds like a speaker cabinet. You cannot record into the computer with this unless you have an interface. This would work if you wanted to use your distortion and preamp pedals direct into a recording interface or live monitor setup without needing a real speaker cabinet.

So if i find a super great tone with these 2 pedal i could plug directly in any interface and still get my great tone in the push of these pedal !! Did you tryed them in fx loops of amps too see how it goes ?
@ZackSeifMusic2 жыл бұрын
@@alexvachon9990 You do not want to plug this into the effects loop because you won’t be capturing the sound of any of your post-fx loop amp circuit, and you won’t be getting your power amp saturation and response so it you won’t be getting the most accurate representation of your tone. You want to make this pedal the very last thing in your signal chain because just like in real life the speaker cabinet is the final source of tone before the microphone.

How does thing sound going straight into the mixing board FOH?
@ZackSeifMusic2 жыл бұрын
That’s how you heard the pedal in this demo! Guitar - Fractal - Pedal - Interface Mixer. It’ll sound great, you’ll just adjust your preamp pedal settings to taste, then can adjust the hi and low cut depending on he room you’re in.

Does this need a DI box or it can be plugged directly to mixer for live performance?
@ZackSeifMusic Жыл бұрын
You can plug it directly into a mixer if you want, but plugging it into a DI box will normalize the impedance and give the mixer a balanced signal which will translate a little bit cleaner.
