I remember these going off the windows in the house shook and we live about a mile away . My father took me down town a few days afterwards to see it . Shocking times I think the court house got it soon after this or around the same time

Put simply. RUC colluded with Loyalist paramilitaries hence they were legitimate targets.
@williammohan97844 ай бұрын
so the nine officers colluded then. So i take it you have evidence to the effect that these nine officers colluded with loyalist killers.

People over in England knew NOTHING about what went on in the North. I've a mate from the Midlands, and a brother in law from Nottingham. I'm 50 and I CANNOT explain to those English people what it was like to see the UTV news every evening. 15 minutes of pure chaos, and the first time I ever heard of people getting nailed for 'indecent assault' was on UTV. The hello, and weather were the only mildly normal things about it.

Who’s told you this about the English? It’s a lie, just look at World in action and opening thyme English people relate that tune to the IRA in the comments. Google Mottingham, Midlands IRA, UDA
@polmacdhomhnaill3021 Жыл бұрын
Bill Wright aka king Rat was an English man. Google Birmingham Pub bombing, Manchester bombing. In 1973 at the hight of the booming in Belfast the West Midlands was Staffordshire and active IRA were shot and killed, Birmingham pub boomings, Manchester bombings London bombings, Brighton Bombing. Quarter Master Diarmuid ONail PIRA was an English man, killed by Police in 1996. 1998 Birmingham born PIRA man arrested and charged with intent. Units across the Midlands and Staffordshire you goto Coventry train to make bombs. I can go on and on. The Provos off the Mainland and lived in England normally had Irish or Scottish ancestry., The Provos also used Sleeper units which became active units, unlike the Mainland where sleepers ran guns and bombs about or stored them. As for UDA members and supporters span right across England dishing out punishments to the Irish or for just being Catholic. Football fans across England for example if you google WBA you’ll see there football pin and along side it if you look is a red hand, ulster flag or UDA. London football fans badges also have their club badge and along side it is the red hand, Ulster flag or UDA. The Toon Newcastle football ground has flute bands marching during the 12 of July. UFF are around the Black County areas also only last week was a guy arrested in Dudley for flying a UFF flag, theirs been UFF members in those areas since the 80’s. I can go on and on with examples of English and Scottish born PIRA, UDA and some I’ll not say from the 80’s who have served life sentences for active service, fire arms and more. It’s all common knowledge and on the internet if anyone wishes to read up.

How truly shocking it was that those RUC waging a relentless war of attrition on the nationalist population believed that they would not be brought to book.

If the R.U.C were the enemy why did the nationalist community complain about the R.U.C working with loyalist? After all they had a common enemy? The republicans put so much effort into their war effort all for it to be for nothing.
