For anyone interested, I used my H and pattern as a sequential for a while, until I got an actual sequential. You don’t get the spring back, but it isn’t too hard to get used to moving in the correct shift direction and bringing the lever back to neutral. I just mapped 3rd gear position as a downshift and 4th gear position as an upshift. You can still have it programmed as an H pattern as well, since as they said iRacing automatically makes you use the native shifting mechanism for the car. You can do it either under the controls tab in options for secondary up and down shift or in drive tab where it shows the wheel pedal and shifter in the upper right hand corner. As a responds for Race 02: So if anyone one want to know the rule for blue flag the car that is lapping the lap car (or about to be) have to make the pass safely also the car that is being pass by a not lap car they do have to make there driving predictable. but I do want to see cars with blue flag let the car by in a safe area (ex: on the straights). for me once the faster car is about 1 to .5 sec behind me.

They all think they are sebastian vettel in formula 1... it's a multiclass race and because of that you don't have to compromise your own race to let the leader of another category pass. Your only job is not to send flying this car. On the other hand, if it's the leader of your category who takes a turn on you, you don't argue and you move your ass.

If your a lap down you shouldn’t even bother racing, what do you gain from it? Your not gonna get your lap back just by fighting it’s foolish and waist both drivers time. It’s not about being entitled it’s about being smart, if the guy behind you is faster it’s only a matter of time before they pass, all you do by fighting is ensure the next car behind catches up faster. What’s better fighting it out with the leader for no reason? Or let him pass and trying to stick with him and maybe learn a thing or two about driving so the next race you won’t be a lap down lol.

Just because your a lap down, doesn't mean you have to to give up your real estate and fall back. Your still racing for position with lapped cars, or getting your lap back. Everyone thinks they are not at fault in sim racing. Some are not your fault, but majority of them you could have had a way out of the situation. Apparently everyone thinks they are a pro, you not. If you have a faster car, then go around a lap car. the worst is hearing "hey lap car I have faster car, get out of the way....." wtf? As the cars behind 26 were obviously not racing for a win That lap car don't gotta do a damn thing for you. Rule of thumb never race a lap car, Never unless of course you top 5 racing for a win. Or if the lap car was wrecked is faster then you and has more tire then you do. It's stupid to compete with a lap car that has more tread then you haha. Use common sense. If I was lapped by the leader never wrecked and a car racing for the win then yes I wouldn't hold them. You have a radio for a reason. I would radio the driver racing for a win and tell them what I'm going to do. They can go around. So when I call out my real estate , you know damn well I have given you the right away to go around me, Make it clear. If you watch racing take Ryan Newman, the man always stood his ground even when lapped. 26 had to do nothing imo, the cars behind said it themselves, they were not racing for a win, they were trying to finish the race clean. If that's the case, if you behind a lap car and feel like its not safe to go around, or that car is faster then you then stay where your at, you have no right to tell them to move. Either go around or stfu. Not sure why the white car came down on the 26 on the outside. Possibly a side draft, but I doubt it. White car had a 2 wide car gap between him and the wall to get around, yet he came down to 26 side, I just think the 26 responded thinking the white car was gonna rub him or make him spin out because white car and everyone behind him not racing for a win who were frustrated and their asses were hurt because a lap car they think needs to move his line because he is a lap car, fuck outta here. My suggestion is, you have a radio use it. You can get a headset for 16 dollars on amazon. Drive the car like you own it!

Posting blue flag per the sporting code since so many in theses races dont read it and think it means something else... 7.4. BLUE FLAG 7.4.1. A blue flag with a diagonal yellow stripe indicates faster cars are approaching. This flag is informational only. 7.4.2. In all cases, it is the responsibility of the faster car to safely overtake the slower car. It is the responsibility of the slower car to maintain a consistent line. It is strongly recommended that a slower car being lapped makes every reasonable effort to facilitate a safe pass.

There are some other channels that do that. With a race summarized like this I try to build up the suspense and portray the driver / persona development throughout - like mini sitcoms basically. Appreciate the input though! Might do a end of season compilation like that.
