iRacing GT3 is a NIGHTMARE!!!

I thought Super Formula was wild... well it turns out GT3 on #iRacing is just as brutal!!! Here's highlights from my first race week in the new Ford Mustang GT3 at Brands Hatch - a really enjoyable combo, but boy just surviving the racing here is a challenge in itself!

I can only imagine how delicate the balance might be with this Mustang 😅 Kudos on keeping that balance throughout - it's another example of how staying on the right side of your own limits and keeping your nose clean can yield good results even if you're struggling to position yourself for direct overtakes. So congrats and good luck further figuring out the balance!

Fantastic racing! Really unlucky in race one. As for Sweeney… get your trousers on, you’re nicked. One for the teenagers, that reference! Really difficult to judge which way he was going to slide, though.

I've been doing the 40 minute Open Simucube GT3 Sprint Series this week. Brands Hatch is one of my better tracks. So I've been qualifying up the front and avoiding the carnage. But there has sure been a bunch of folks behind me getting their races ended early thanks to incidents. Given that next week is Spa and it's practice for the Spa 24, I'm expecting lots of carnage in the GT3s.

I think that defense against kondracki i think was highly suspect, and puts him at fault for the accident. A defender is at liberty to only leave a difficult line open for a pass, but making your opponent give up a position by threatening to cause a wreck or by unreactably blocking lanes on a straightaway entitles you to nothing.

@@tbGTR ah sorry! Those are custom titles that I’ve purchased through a subscription to Storyblocks. It’s pretty expensive as a sub but there’s a decent library of assets, and access to those assets you’ve downloaded after your sub expires.

@@Ben_LaBrocaNah. GT4 is the F4 equivalent. Those races turn into a melee. I’ve also called GT4 the “road ARCA”
