What you predict for you lap time with 45ºC asphalt? Slower? Much Slower? i'm doing 1:44:3xx with 28ºC but can«t lower from 1:45:4xx with 45ºC on tarmac.

My guesstimate is a drop of around 0,5 seconds per 10°C of higher track temps, but I'd always recommend to check the garage61 database as well. There are low 44s finished on 40° track temps in the baseline setup which shows that the track still allows a solid pace even in hot conditions.

Yes, this is a normal lap. It's the baseline setup which is filled to the brim, you can drive +20 laps with the fuel that's on the car. It was also lap 5 of my stint, which means the tires were already a bit settled in and not on their plateau.

Thanks! Yeah, if you're driving the car in an open setup race then I prefer changing the ARB (anti roll bar) from unhooked to OEM. It gives you more control over the slip angle and allows you to be a bit more aggressive on entries.

1:44.305 is the actual lap time. I notice you don’t blip into gears

Hey, no, it's not a 44, it's a 43. The 44 that's shown in the cockpit lap on the bottom left was the last lap, it's also noted besides it. iRacing only updates that laptime after you finish a lap because obviously, your lap is still running so the sim didn't knew the time at that point in the replay. The actual laptime is a 43.9. And yeah, I don't blip on every downshift because there's no need for it. I only blip when I downshift into lower gears (1 and 2) while turning, cause then it helps with stabilizing the car.

I normally don't suffer from understeer but for some reason I cannot stop the understeer on this track. I'm over two seconds off this pace.

It's hard to judge it without seeing your lap (you can post it on Discord), but it sounds a bit like you're overdriving the car on entries. Take it a bit more chill =)
