I just ensure all the rookie cars have guides for each track as they’re run buddy. Even when conditions change, the braking points remain more or less the same so there’s not too much point in me doing new ones every season now but my back catalogue is always there and my playlists are still there for each car.

This helped me get down to a 1:05.5 first day. Still looking to see where I can gain time mostly the second chicane and carrying more speed throughout the first corner so still going back to this for the races tonight!

Do you just crash it down the gears without the clutch? That's what I do, great guide hopefully shave some time off

Yeah it’s sequential so you don’t need the clutch if you’re not engine braking bud

This track is garage the past 5 races i qualified in top 3 and got taken out in the first 5 corners

“Left hand down” would you mind explaining that technique please! I have never heard someone do that prior to a corner and I’m interested to learn that. I’m stuck at a 1:05.3 here

So it’s a more advanced move and it basically just getting the the rear loose (in this case by a quick left hand turn before a right hand corner.

hi, i'm totally new to the game and your video helped a lot for this week !!! just a quick question : do you use the clutch pedal to gear up or down ? tbf i come from asseto corsa competizione which doesn't require you to do so ...

I use dual clutch paddles now but used to use a foot clutch before then using a button clutch (before the last upgrade to dual paddles)

I base what I make guides for on a couple of things bud. I try and make the most popular combinations first as I don’t want to make more than 3-4 per week. I’ve ended up making ten in a week before and it’s just too much time, even doing it for fun. Once I’ve got all the major series down and complete (like I have for the Vee, FF1600, MX5 rookie etc) then I’ll start to branch out to some of the less well populated ones.

I just did first 17 laps in mx5 at this track im pretty new to this game.. and did 1:06:160 with optimal 1:05;932 is it any good for beginner ?

What's the deal with this Coach Dave Hotlap? it shows 1:00min flat for this track and that doesn't even seem possible - it's Chicane and not classic though. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmnKk2aghpmimrc

His lap takes 1 minute and 4 seconds if you time it. I personally dislike that channel as he doesn’t ever show an official timer and it’s always “trust me bro”.
