one thing i hate about iracing is that you get a 1x for going off track to avoid an incident. is it so hard to implement a system which can tell "you went off track for 2 secs in place another car was standing ok no x for you"

Because it's too easy to abuse. Imagine if all you have to do to cut a corner with no penalty is to have your teammate "get in the way".

A 1x is pretty inconsequential though

@@paraphendeer depends on how long the race is and/or if you still need to get SR like me. in longer races this 1x can be the diff between getting a drive through or not
