Thanks man! I’m actually not sure what time this specific lap was - but my best lap time that week was a 1:49.6

@@rtreyk I wouldn’t read too much into it haha, a 1:49.6 put me 9th in the world for quali lap times. COTA is super technical and tricky, it’s very hard to extract a perfect lap, and even harder to be able to drive like that the whole race. It’s a track where you see bigger gains/losses than you typically might expect - if you take a corner wrong, you can lose almost half a second as opposed to just a tenth or two. So being a little off the pace at COTA usually looks worse than it actually is

@@JFein well you're quite skilled, I'm relatively new but I was getting 1:52 or at absolute best like 1:51.9

Hey mate do you use a virtual mirror in vr races? I am farily sure we can't use the in car screen as back mirror. Feels a bit dangerous with only the side mirrors.
@JFein4 жыл бұрын
Yes I use the virtual mirror! Just use the wing mirrors for replays haha. I use the virtual mirror in most cars when I’m racing. In the P2, that central screen is actually meant to show any “flag” conditions that occur - ie, it’ll show blue flags, or black and white flags, or it’ll show SC when a safety car is deployed, etc. iRacing hasn’t implemented that functionality, but that’s why you can’t use that screen as a rear view camera
