I took this same plane from Bangkok to Tehran. I thought the cabin was pretty large and the ceiling was pretty high....quite a visual comfort. I love everything in this clip, but your landing part from 8.25 till the end is the best. The land is sooo vast. And yes crossing the streeets in Iran for me was quite an experience.

Yes, Homa class to be precise. Not sure if its meant to be 1st or biz though.

Loran that is 1st class I'm %100 sure of it they wouldn't have a table like that in business class although luxuries vary in both classes

once i flew to Frankfourt with IranAir several years ago. it was a snowy winter day.nobody noticed that aircraft had landed until the last second when a soft brake was applied. suddenly, passengers started clapping for the pilot.

@LogMyWorld9 жыл бұрын
+alextb10 You should have more faith in your engineers, they are doing a great job ;) Iran Air is totally safe, my only worry in Tehran is safely crossing a major street, this is definitely a life-risking task...
@jayz4evr9 жыл бұрын
Loran true we do have some pretty good engineers and pilots but they can only help to a point and some things are just out of their hands and i just cant trust these old planes . lets just hope they lift the sanctions completely so we have safer planes flying around . oh and btw crossing a major street or even highways in iran is an easy task for a lot of us persians because we're used to it but its definitely frightening for foreigners haha
@GilZu9 жыл бұрын
+alextb10 I would pay extra to fly in old plane (: buy this is just me
@grl26759 жыл бұрын
The 747SP is an extremely well built aircraft. Moreover, Iran Air has a lot of experience flying and maintain them. In fact, it was the second airline to order SP's after Pan Am. The original intention was to connect Tehran and New York, then the longest non-stop airline flight in the world.
@kawanchiraguna43819 жыл бұрын
+alextb10 I can understand your concern. I was feeling a bit worried too. However the flights I took were smooth. I flew from Tehran to Esfahan in a smaller plane, quite aged as well..I cant remember the model...u know it was quite a great experience.
