Trailer from Iran Air B727 Cockpit Video.
In this over 2 hour long cockpit DVD you will follow Captain Rahimian on a return trip from Tehran to Bandar Abbass in southern Iran. The crew will show you the Boeing 727 in the best way. Follow the Flight Engineer on his walkaround pre flight inspection before the flight back to Tehran. Captain Rahimian will show you around in the B727 cockpit.
As always you will hear the pilots tell you their history of aircraft flewn, dating back to their first airline job. You will watch the cabincrew prepare the service and then join them in the aisle as they handout drinks and food.
In Bandar Abbass we watch a full turnaround of the B727 as it continues for another leg and returns to pick you up for the return to Tehran. Watch the luggage loading, passenger boarding and an amazing takeoff!
We also are treated with a evening flight from Shiraz to Tehran. You will love the view as we approach the 21st largest city in the world. The city lights surrounds you as we descend into Tehran's Mehrabad airport.

Regardless of their country's politics, these guys are aviation heroes. To conduct regular air service with very few incidents while being deprived of most of the parts and technology that other airlines take for granted is nothing short of amazing. I don't like the mullahs but I like Iran Air.

I had the privilege to fly ALL versions of B727 over 4.5 years. Regardless of what I flew afterwards this is my favorite aircraft ever to fly. A pilots airplane. Very reliable and safe. Very sturdy in bad weather and turbulence. Hands on it handles like a dream. And very fast for it’s era........ B727-100/200, B727QF and Super 27.......

My first flight alone was on Iran air from Tehran to Rasht on the 727-200 during Shah's era when I was a young boy. My passion for aviation started early on. The Iran Air Flight Attendants were so kind and generous. They looked so glamorous in their very chic pre-revolution uniforms, mini skirts and the cute hats. It was considered a dream job back then. They gave me so much food and attention on a 45 minute flight and that sparked an interest in me. I became a Flight Attendant for TWA in 1989 when I was only 21 and I flew mostly Europe on the 747-100's and 747-200's, however I flew on the 727 now and then. My first assignment was on the 727 as the L1 Flight Attendant. I nearly burned the meals and served heated runny ice-creams (forgot to take the dry-ice off so I put them in the oven) right before landing. Thanks for taking me back to the memory lane. I would love to go back to Iran someday, however when the Mollah's are gone and the Kingdom is back or a democratic presidential system is in tact. How did you get the permission from Iran Air to film? Did you spend anytime visiting places like Astara and Tabriz up north and Shiraz and Isfahan down south? Iran has some interesting and great places to visit and amazing food. Plus the most hospitable and friendliest people on earth. I have been around the globe and I believe the hospitality of Iranians, Turks & Moroccans are the best in the world. I always go back to Morocco and visit places such as Essouirra, Chefchaouen, Taghazout bay, Tangier & Marrakech.

We usually film the pilot flying most, and in this case it was the captain's legs to fly. So, since the seating is what it is in a B727 cockpit, the Captain's chair offers the best view to film. So, we placed the pilot flying in the seat with the best view for the camera. Thanks to Iran Air for such a great cooperation!

Iran Air is (IA) a very well run airline with splendid routines and safety focus. Even flying older planes, the fleet is held ship shape and to a very high level of safety measurements. And the pilots and cabin crew are highly educated within aviation. I flew as cabin crew for Sabena way back in time, and I met several IA crews on different hotels on night stops. Very nice people, all the time. And we had some good laughs. :-) Remember one captain, he was hilarious telling jokes all the time when we at Sabena invited the IA-crew to join us at the hotel dinner table. That night we went to bed very late. We had flights not before the next day and the IA guys had afternoon check in. My god, that night we developped six packs due to his jokes, he made us laugh so hard! Ha ha! :)

I,m Iranian, and also an frequent intercontinental flayer.I must say that this is defiantly the second best video i have seen about flying beside a cockpit fly of Concorde.Dude, you have done very well, be sure of my respect and honor.The fact that it,s an B-727 is amazing.Indeed my country mens are in my opinion one the best in the world, and as you see, they are flying without any kind of computer or digital help.God bless them all and also you all.Make it good and good luck.

I like the fact that Iran Air flies aircraft that is older than I am, keeps them maintained. Most aircraft like this are either used for freighters or in the bone yard in the United States, it shows that if you maintain something, car, plane, etc, it can last a long time.

Great memories! My first command was on 727 and to this day I dream about the cockpit and see myself flying one. Later on I transferred to wide bodies but regardless of size the 27 will always be my favorite.

A very nicely put together video! I miss the 727s that belonged to Iran Air and Iran Aseman, they were last passenger operators. The only remaining aircraft operate in cargo service, VIP/private service, and military service.

***** I'm not hearing it. Moreover, the speedbrake seems distinctly unarmed (speedbrake lever in fully down detent). Upon closer examination at 5:45, you can see a short closeup on the panel and what appears to be the SPEEDBRAKE ARMED light with a white "INOP" tag over it.

thank you for not thinking its a risk to travel to iran and thank you for this video, if you ever go back try SAHA Airways they operate the 707, that would be a truly fantastic video, my grandmother worked for iran air most of her life so if i ask her about the captain to this flight she will know him, she wanted to take me in the Iran air 727 sim, but i was too young at the time, really a bigg missed oppurtunity
