Iran (Persian: ایران), also called Persia, and officially the Islamic Republic of Iran,[a] is a country in Western Asia. It is bordered to the west by Iraq and Turkey, to the northwest by Azerbaijan and Armenia, to the north by the Caspian Sea and Turkmenistan, to the east by Afghanistan and Pakistan, and to the south by the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf. Iran covers an area of 1,648,195 km2 (636,372 sq mi), making it the fourth-largest country entirely in Asia and the second-largest in Western Asia. Its population is 85 million, the 17th-most populous in the world. The capital and largest city is Tehran.

Te hago saber que en Cuba amamos la cultura mexicana y a su pueblo.....este cariño ha surgido porque crecimos muy influenciados por la cultura mexicana, sus novelas, sus películas, los artistas que aportó México en el arte los cuales no voy a mencionar porque son muchos y todos son muy queridos en mi país. Un abrazo desde Cuba y recuerda mi hermano que la actitud de unos no puede definir la de todos....cuando uno escucha las noticias de México solo ve asesinatos, drogas, violaciones, secuestros y sin embargo yo no pienso que los mexicanos son todos delincuentes ni mucho menos ni la agarro con mis amigos mexicanos...al contrario yo sé que todo esto es producto de muchas situaciones que van desde la situación geográfica de México hasta el nivel de abandono de sus comunidades. I used to have a business in entertainment and had a lot of Iranian clients who booked for shows. I loved entertaining them . They’re so welcoming and warm. The outside world might have stereotypes about Iranians being angry and hating the west but the Iranians I’ve met over the years have such an inner love for life. They’re proud of their Persian heritage and culture but equally proud of the new homes they make overseas. And of course iranians are stunning..,😍😍

Thank you for saying that! (: Persians are some of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. I was privilege enough to have met an amazing Persian girl in my life as well. (: Love their food and history. As like you mentioned, I do not believe that the West (a very general term to use) have stereotypes about Iran other than what I know is that Americans cannot differentiate between Iranians and Arabs and think Iranians are Arabs which is a stereotype and know can offend some Persians. Its what based in reality and from what happened in history. Many times in history, the U.S. like Great Britain, want a piece of Iran and conquer the country which anger the Persian government. The 1979 Revolution changed Iran forever, and with the growing anti-US sentiment in Iran, and the American embassy staff being hostages, this changed dramatically how the US sees Iran. During the Iran-Iraq War, US sided with Iraq and hand them supplied but later turned on against Iraq during the Kuwait War and the Iraq War of 2003. So, it really all depends, and from what I understand, I have a lot of compassion for the Persian people and can see why some of them might have anti US sentiment, and can't blame them. The Persians whom I met in my time in the US are so warm and tolerant and very very educated people. I cannot argue with you that Persians are very beautiful people, having such nice eyes and eyebrows! I am so jealous! Love from this amazing USA/Mexico person! (: Merci

@@gunglegeorge7213 I have travelled to Iran on a number of occasions, the earliest trip was in 2005 and my most recent visit being 2017 I am fortunate enough to have escaped the rape and torture prisons, since I do not view myself as an Infidel, no genocide has been committed against me yet, in fact the Customs / Border control treated me with the utmost respect and dignity, I am not a Diplomat, just a regular person. I think that the Imperialism that you are referring to might be in relation to the impasse in The Crimea, perhaps the raid on Benghazi or the Nicaraguan Contra affair, not to worry, the nice people in the E.U. have finally decided to allow Iran to drip feed their oil back into the system, seems as if they have concerns that relate to a potential energy crunch this coming Winter, so Tehran is not bad all the time, only when it suits our Overlords in Brussels and Washington, but then you knew that didn't you? Slightly off-topic, I was looking at a few beautiful Nain and Tabriz rugs just yesterday afternoon, my small way of supporting The Revolution.
