I'm sorry that your dreams where crushed. I've looked on Google images to see what life was like before 1979. It was beautiful, everybody was happy, full of life, enjoying to be free. Job's where growing creating opportunity's for the future. To be honest I would love to go there. What happened? Even Afghanistan and Pakistan wasn't like this.

Iranians has always been calling their country Iran, it was just called Persia by the Greeks. In fact outsiders called it Persia all the way up to 1935. Your great grandfather would have been calling it Persia, which shows you how recent the change was.

i don't support the current regime, i am a supporter of mohammad reza shah, and i think iran was doing quite well before the revolution. but this style of video is like propeganda. you think westernization and anti-traditional beliefs, women dressing like hookers, and leaving sentiment behind for a machine-like lifestyle is a good thing?

it was people like you with your googoosh and your western views that were ruining things thinking traditional values are now primitive, and we need to leave our ancient traditional music, taziye (plays) behind and separate ourselves from religion. if it was not for mr. ghotbi, farah pahlavi, and jashne honare shiraz (jashnvareye tous, etc.), we wouldn't even have had the little stage we had to showcase our true culture. it was the tv and this crap music, and modernism that was ruining us.
