Chitgar Lake or Martyrs Lake of the Persian Gulf is an artificial lake located in the northwest of Tehran and the 22nd district of Tehran Municipality. The area of ​​this lake is 130 plots in the vicinity of which 120 recreational complexes have been created in the land area. Chitgar Lake is located in the north of the South Chitgar Forest Park, and the lake reaches Tehran-Karaj Azad Road, north of it to Hemet Highway, east of it to Azadegan Highway, and from the west it is limited to the residential area of ​​the 22nd district of Tehran Municipality. The source of the lake's water is the Ken river, and due to the closed cycle and isolation of its water transfer system, no other water enters the lake.
