The Parsi community have the AGYASI ( Temple), in Queens road, Bengalore, that Agassi is not very big, and there also the fire will be burning day and night by using Jali wood ( Jali Mara- in kannada). The priest(Poojari) are called " Panthaki." So many people are not knowing about founder of " Indian Institute of Science" Bengalore. J N Tata is the founder of I I Sc Bengzlore during 1885. Actually it was planned to set the institute in Mumbai, later the Parsi community planned to establish in Pune, but finally they decided to set up in Bengalore. Around 140 years back there was good strength parsi - people were there in Bengalore, that is the reason they proposed Bengalore to bring Science Institute here. Now, I I Sc Benglore is One of the Best Institute, ( better than I I Ts of India).

This is called Tower of silence. I have seen one tower of silence in Bangalore and one in Mumbai. Famous motorcycle brand YEZDI got name from Yezd province. Ideal Jawa bike company which manufactured Jawa and Yezdi bikes in Mysore. Founder of this company was Farrok Irani was a zoroastrianian. Now there are many affluent parsee families are living in Mumbai, Pune, Gujarat. Film actor Boman Irani, Ratan Tata all are from the same community. They are called as Parsee because migrated to India from Persia ( now Iran) to escape from Islamic atrocities.

Parsis in india are zorastrians,they speak gujarati as they adopted it as thier language in india. Most of thw zorastrian settled in gujarat and mumbai. In the 7th century, the Zoroastrian Sassanian dynasty was threatened by Islamic conquest and a small group of Zoroastrians fled to Gujarat in present-day India,initially landed at the port of sanjan,india after their persecution in Persia (ancient Iran) by Muslim invaders in 8th and 10th century AD. The first settlement of Parsi refugees were granted asylum by the king Jadi Rana and since then as the years have passed, the Parsis adopted the local language (Gujarati) and dress code. The story of the Parsis has been recorded in Qissa-i-Sanjan - the only known account of the story of the early settlers. Zorastrains are fire worshipper*(agni deva), there are many fire temples in azarbaizan, uzbekistan and iran. Founder of TaTa group is a zorastrian. Zorastrians are the only minorities trying thier best is developing india. There may be arround 1 lakh parsis in india. Nowruz is a new year for parsis( zorastrianians) which is celebrated on the same day of hindu new year. We can say zorastrianism is connected or related to hinduism or sanatana dharma. Iran name came from the word aryan, india was called as aryavritta, ghandari was princes of gandara ( khandahar) in afghanistan which is neighbouring to iran aswell, ancient india was connected to both afghaniatan and iran. Later after islamic invassion most of the ancient rituals and monuments were destroyed. Aurangzeb in the time of his rule put ban on nowruz because is celebrated by shias,ismailis and also Hazara communities.
