Iran staged a military parade near Tehran amid escalating tensions with arch-rival Israel. Ballistic missiles, rockets and drones were on display at the event presided over by Iranian leader Ebrahim Raisi. The president said last weekend's attack "brought down" the glory of the Israeli regime and vowed a "severe" response if prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu retaliated. Western leaders urged Israel to de-escalate and craft a response that would limit the regional fallout. The US and the European Union are also pursuing sanctions against Iran in a bid to appease the Israelis. Will diplomacy and threats deter Israel from striking? Palki Sharma tells you.

As a member of the BRICS block, I doubt that 'sanctions' against Iran will hurt Iran any more than sanctions against Russia during the Ukraine War hurt Russia! In fact they had a 'boomerang' effect and hurt those nations who imposed them. Nestle story: I am an American woman and this happens even in my country. There are additives in some of our food and packaged items, like colors and preservatives, that are banned in Europe and Canada. Also, Coke and soft drinks available in the US contain high fructose corn syrup, which is extremely harmful to health. We need our government to ban hfcs and force companies to add real sugar instead. Corporations are only interested in profits, not our health. We need to read the labels carefully before consuming. So, this is not just a problem in poor countries, corporations do this in first world countries as well. Also, about the fake medicines, there were some toxic medicines manufactured by Indian pharmaceutical companies that have killed people. Remember the toxic cough syrups from last year? The Iranian and Israeli governments and their leaders must be expected to take cautious positions on the urgent need for restraint in the face of the regional and international pressure on them to stop the aggressive actions and rhetoric against each other and exercise restraint in further escalation of the conflict. Secondly, the almost certainly global financial markets total collapse’s impact and Israeli internal opposition to war and the certain circle’s echo of bringing more sanctions to bear on Iran is an important part of the reason why the ongoing crisis in the region is likely to be reversed if not entirely eliminated. Thirdly, the global financial crisis will go out of control and eventually everything will be destroyed economically, politically as well as socially if the war-like situation continues there. This is why there is no sane reason to go to war with each other and seek individual self-destruction. Again, there is a clear sign that the peoples worldwide are already suffering from the economic problems and hence they have abhorrent opposition to the war. This being the regional and international stand against the war and that too is in the most colloquial form, it seems that the international opinion is against increasing the conflict and they have therefore thrown the ball in the court of the parties to the conflict. Now, the Almighty Allah has given them enough wisdom to make their most sincere decision against the war by putting them behind their political election agenda in the favour of the indigenous population’s’ opposition to the war and international desire for peace and prosperity as well as the United Nations appeal for respecting each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. Seeing all this is positive and encouraging to hope for the better is a natural reaction.?However, having seen this, all now depends on the outcome of this massive opposition to the war in form of the warring countries returning to the peace position and the resolution of the conflict between them through peaceful means. Understandably, for the present ongoing global opposition to the escalation of the hostilities in the Middle East conflict between Israel and Iran and their calls for restraint from further escalating the tensions has significantly increased chances of de-escalation. And again, the western bloc; and their traditional ally, the superpower United States have already echoed the same message in the same clear terms. They have already assessed the potentially disastrous consequences that the war between these two countries will bring to the world as a whole. In the wake of the world demanding restraint from escalating the tensions, the Turkish entry into the Middle East is also a silver lining for de-escalating tensions between them, hopefully.

Never forget the marvelous day of December 8, 2021. An Indian highest priority VIP helicopter mission transporting India's most important senior commander Bipin as well as many of India's most highest ranking captains, generals, officers, chiefs, squadron leaders all onboard crashed resulting in the death of all 14 passengers.
