Is this really Tehran international airport ? Is this true or you are joking ? Have you seen thr neigbouring countries airports. This looks to be very simple and old airport . What is this ? Look at Dubai , Qatar , Sharja and others . Even Oman airport with few milion population is much bigger and better . Get it changed now

What has sanction to do with building a terminal . The authorities saying something and you believe on what they are saying ? Come on . Mafia is used to lie all the time, but you should think twice, dude.

Because most international airports in the Middle East are designed and built by foreign companies and architects. Iran cannot do that since sanctions prohibite it. One example is the planned new terminal of Imam Khomeini International Airport. A dutch company was ready to build it but was forced to pull off when Trump pulled of the JCPOA.@@SinGarcia

They have no need or demand to expand or modernize. Iranians are generally poor and only people with a lot of money travel.
