IRAQ: 1st day of Arbaeen Walk 2023 - Part 1

On the 2nd of August, 2023, I started doing the Arbaeen walk in Iraq from the holy city of Najaf to the holy city of Karbala, 80 km away from each other.
Arbaeen marks the 40 days of mourning following the tragic death of Imam Hussein, grandson of the prophet Mohammed. Twenty to fourty million people from around the world go on pilgrimage during Arbaeen.
