Hey! You will definitely need to download a VPN app! You will also go to Kuwait first! When I got there I cut my cell service off.. They have mobile WiFi puckets you can buy and make monthly payments in order to have cell service. This all depends on your cell provider as well! I went to Iraq 2018 so I’m sure they have updated ways to have cell service lol hope this helps!
