@@Migoladon Because tracers are rounds that are hot as hell. They are usually some sort of magnesium mixture that rapidly burns in the air when shot with a bullet. So it's a bit of added heat in the shooting process and since heat is the primary reason most good guns will wear down and fail this is sort of an added challenge.

Why does everyone think that the WASR is American made? It's a Romanian made, mostly mil-spec, AK. All Century Arms does is import it and make it 922r compliant, but that doesn't mean the whole gun is American. It's without a doubt a Romanian made firearm. Is it as high quality as a Russian AK? No. But it's still a good AK, and way better than any truly 100% American made AK (i.e. C39). Sorry to butt in, but I can't understand why everyone calls WASRs American made.

March 3, 1911.... check out the torture tests by the Army on the Colt 1911, including mud, water and barrels of acid..... hundreds tested, none failed....... a little bit of history.....
@alexferrara92875 жыл бұрын
@13R^D Basically, when it comes to hand guns, get a Beretta M9 (92fs & M9A3 as well), good-high quality 1911 (in .45 acp), Glock (pick your poison, they have many flavors), or a revolver (particularly Smith & Wesson or an old Colt). That said, I would also suggest taking a look at the hand guns made by CZ, FN, and EAA Tangfoglio. You can't go wrong with either of those companies.
@alexferrara92875 жыл бұрын
@13R^D Ay, I getcha. We're all entitled to our own opinion's brother. I was just adding on to what was already stated. The companies/hand gun models I listed, though I was pretty vague, are among the best options (if not the best) when choosing a hand gun. Can I ask why you have such a distaste for 1911's? And I'm not sure why you would label CZ a cliche, as they make some of the most reliable hand guns/rifles out there. Not to mention, their pricing is unbelieveable for the quality you get. I mean, their "Bren" series of assault rifles (805 Bren, Bren 2, and every different size/caliber variant of each) are among the best combat rifles made, period. Even though it looks like an exact copy of the FN SCAR, the build quality of the Bren unquestionably exceeds the FN master piece. Though, the performance of the two rifles are neck and neck. But if we're completely honest, a majority of people would agree that the Bren 2 is overall, a superior rifle to the FN SCAR (L & H). And I LOVE FN! Hence why I mentioned FN in my original post. In terms of hand guns, I prefer FN's variety but, there are a couple CZ's that are just as good. Glocks are reliable as all hell and are a perfect choice for a beginner or pro but, I prefer a Beretta M9, 92 fs, or M9A3 over any Glock. I have bigger hands and have never felt that they were too heavy for any situation in comparison to a Glock. I will say, one specific gun not mentioned enough is the Hudson H9 9mm. Pretty light weight in my opinion and shoots phenomenal.

Word to the wise, it's generally NOT good practice to wet gloves and pot holders before handling hot objects. If the object is hot enough, it can cause the water in the glove or pot holder to boil and steam directly on your hand, which will burn you more rapidly (and worse) than if the glove were dry.

+Austin Myers think you mean warped barrel and they knew what they were doing this is i think their 3rd meltdown video where they just torture the firearm at the cyclic rate of fire till the firearm fails. the second AK video is a must watch. But this type of shooting only happens on purpose for "testing" purposes. In the Military when SHTF you have FPF (final protective fire) where belt feed machine guns put up a "wall of lead" to cut everything down but they also can change barrels.
