Stopping power is real. 30-30 kills better than 223 and 556 despite the fact it has less energy. Light and fast bullets don't help you unless the bigger bullet isnt fast enough to reach the target. If it is it's preferable.

When we travel I take a Maxim PDX SBR 5.56 in a Hazard Plan B sling pack…in the pouches are Otto Noiz Barrier Micros, a CGS Helios QD & 120 rounds of M855. I store it in condition 2 (bolt closed on an empty chamber, trigger decocked and a fully loaded magazine inserted). If I need the SBR in a ‘hurry’ it’s ready to go…if I’ve taken cover and have about 20 seconds I unscrew the blast shield and thread the suppressor on. It simply goes with me and doesn’t stay in the car. Anything that requires immediate action I carry a full duty load with my Glock 22 😁👍🏻🍻 I refuse for my family or myself to be victims 🇺🇸

Sometimes they would miss the childs knee cap and accidentally hit them directly in the fore head. Tragic but I guess they should have known not to approach the prison fence. Someome should have told them that god gave thier fathers farm to his "chosen people" and they had no right to ask for it back.

I wanted to buy one when they first came out back in the 80s. Everyone refused to take a chance and order one for me. Oh no these are going to blow up in your hand and we are not going to be liable.

When discussing entry level firearms if we're not talking about 22s or pellet guns you already lost me. Glock 19? Entry level? REALLY???

Truck gun means nothing more than the guns people commonly kept in their truck which was sometimes a 22 but usually a 12 gauge or a 30-30.

Video games like early 2000’s like the call of duty’s and medal of honour’s. Unfortunately semi automatic rifles are deemed too dangerous for civilians where I live so bolt actions all the way. But the first milsurp I acquired was a Schmidt Rubin thanks to you and I absolutely love it

I don't own a Glock because I can buy a better pistol with more features for the same price, and they're American made. The M&P pistols are hands down a better value than Glock. Canik is even a better pistol simply because of price and features. The reason Glock doesn't do anything substantially different is because they know that most gun owners are loyal to their brand to a fault.

My mom encouraged me. My opa was a police officer in Germany, so she grew up around guns and later lived on a farm. My Dad had no issues with me taking lessons. I'm a gal, but the guys at the range treat me the same. Thank you, Mom. I love you and miss you!

Washington State 1978(?). Loaded long gun in vehicle is illegal anywhere. In sub-freezing weather, a hunter, miles from camp is riding in a pickup truck in the back country. He tried to unload his bolt action rifle prior to boarding the vehicle but the action jammed preventing any use without tools. Unable to either close or open the bolt, unable to unload. Cited for a loaded rifle in vehicle violation by Game Warden who was also unable to operate the action.

I just bought a Persian G98 from a pawn shop. Was actually looking for K98, M96 and Enfields but the guy showed me this thing in perfect condition. All matching numbers, matching bayonet and top notch barrel for 750€ (some dealers want 1300-1500 online) He even gifted me a case for that long beast. Sometimes you just gotta be lucky.

Then there are concealed internal hammers like the L-35, where the whole fireing mechanism is just as protected as in a striker fire gun. In fact like in an 12:49 AK rifle

Fun fact: the founding fathers specifically enumerated the right to keep a truck gun in your back seat when they wrote the constitution, bill of rights, and the federalist papers... probably...

I live full time in a "tiny house". Thereby limited on storage space. I also am on a retirement income (fixed) & do not hunt nor do I "hobby" shoot (except for air guns!). I bought a Hi Point 995 because, as a potential tool, it is great. I could survival hunt (IF ever needed!) & have more "range" than w/a 9mm handgun. (IF I ever got into a "Red Dawn" scenario I'd confiscate a Govt. Firearm & use "their" supply chain to keep myself in ammo. Doubt it will ever happen though! LOL!) I can use 9mm for occasional (affordable) plinking along w/my .22LR pistol & rifle.
