Also, many people feel like his videos aren’t as a good as they used to be. With unfunny skits to pad out the video, unfunny commentary on the film and a mediocre review overall. And his mismanagement made it seem that he did not care for the well being of his peers. So many of those who left Channel Awesome were bullied by Mike and Doug's brother Rob, and Doug either turned a blind eye or didn't really look into it and either slam or scold the two. Yes I understand Mike is the big boss but remember it was DOUG who invited and hired him to take over. Least he could have done was make some reprimands for those who had a shit time at Channel Awesome.

I binged all of the AVGN stuff when I found James in 2015. Marathon then and been going since. Then I found Chris because of James and binged all of Irrate Gamer. I'm 35 years old now...started watching James and Chris when I was about 23...i never understood all the animosity that Chris received, and now, being older, it's just so apparent how all social media platforms are just full of really angry, deviant people...it's great that these two guys came together to do something fun for all of us, especially during such a dark time we're all living in...so thanks, guys...in closing, I'd like to see Chris and James have a convo in the nerd room; just sharing their experiences on their respective sides of the 'rivalry.'

I thought James, really looked like the old gamer of old in this video (sadly more so than some of his recent AVGN videos. You would be right if this was 2009 or 2010. But back then they sort've wasted that opportunity and were at each other's throats. It's good to see that's not the case anymore. It really is. Back then a lot of gaming KZbinrs wouldn't really collab or network with each other and was mostly because of the beef Irate and AVGN had. They just all sort've did their own thing, stayed with their own group/brand. And that's why almost none of them are left. TheRadBrad is the only one that managed to do it and never fell off. It wasn't until KZbinrs like Markiplier, Pewdiepie _(even though I hate him), and Vanoss showed up that this view changed. No one got mad for playing the same game the biggest KZbinr was playing. No one got mad for having similar gimmicks to the KZbinrs the were inspired by. After that.

I enjoy both these guys. Never felt there was a competition because both have their own interpretations and delivery of their humor. I feel they bring us all back to the days of playing games and having our weekends ruined by renting the wrong game from Blockbuster, lol. Although none of us know each other, we're all growing older together and guys like this just bring us together to relive our childhoods for a few minutes at a time. I'm glad they did this to show everyone that there really was no drama but the drama stirred up on the internet.
