I think it's pretty good for 22 year old technology. Glad you found one!

I had this a long time ago and I only had that one chip that was included. Sequentially it went "May the force be with you" which I assume was said by Qui Gon, then Jar Jar Binks saying "Oh, maxi big da force", the explosion sound and then Obi Wan saying "You will be a Jedi. I promise." That Commtech was a childhood treasure of mine, but unfortunately I had misplaced it

I love the Episode 1 line and have all the individual figures on card which is great! A special film to me along with the original trilogy as I grew up with them and they were the first four films made and the memorabilia for episode 1 was incredible!! Great video :-)

Hey, thank you for watching 💙 I'll agree the episode one line of figures is quite expansive! Totally impressed 👍🏻🍻😀 cheers!

Regret not picking up the Phantom Menace line of figures when they came out. They were everywhere and sometimes at a bargain price too. Cool video Richard 😊

I'm ok not collecting them but the amount of characters in that line is amazing!😊👍🏻

Yeah I was just about collecting the OTC back then. I did get a few of the ROTS figures around 2005. That was an awesome movie too.

@@rustyblades2566 cool! I'll agree that Revenge of the Sith is the best of the prequels😀😀 I actually have a copy of that movie 👍🏻

Personally I like the Comtech reader better, it feels more substantial than the Forcelink. Also the rubber cape on the Senator Palpatine can go sticky after a while because of the material they used.

I agree! The device is a much better design 👍🏻😀🍻 cheers!

The toy is based on the prop used in the film which in reality is a womans razor with some little nobs added
@StarWarsObsessed3 жыл бұрын
That's very clever of the prop department 😀 👍🏻🍻

Hello Richard, I remember telling u the Comtech or Comtalk as it was rebranded in later packaging sounded like a 1940’s phonograph. But what I would like to know is, does the Comtech work with the Force Link figures!?! U can activate the Comtech chips right through the card without opening the card if u wish btw.
@StarWarsObsessed3 жыл бұрын
Hello 😀 you are right it does sound like it's through a photograph 🤣🤣 I just checked, the force link figures do not work with commtech reader.
@jibberjabberactionfigure3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Richard I appreciate u checking for that. 😎
